The Rules

RULE #1
NO GODMODDING
In a delicate rpg like this, this is especially important! There are situations where characters WILL DIE! In fact, all but one character must eventually die! That is why this situation is so important. This is how the rp will work.

In an event where two characters square off in a fight, the first character who attempts to attack will write out what they will attempt to do. Like this:

Cody threw a punch at him, attempting to knock him down.

That is a horrible example, and that will NEVER BE YOUR ENTIRE POST. EVER. But DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT say you hit them. That is up to a Guard. Guards are the moderators here. A guard will post after you did to say what happened. Like this.

Guard Post:

QUOTE

Cody's punch hit him successfully right in the temple, and the other man fell hard to the ground.

or

QUOTE

But the other man ducked your punch, and then took his own action

These are examples, but these will NOT BE WHAT THE POSTS LOOK LIKE. TRhey will be much more detailed and thought out. Now after the first attack and the guard has posted, the second person will put a post of what they attempt to do, and the guard will post again. So in simple terms.

1. FIRST ATTACKER
2. SECOND ATTACKER
3. GUARD
4. SECOND ATTACKER
5. FIRST ATTACKER
6. GUARD

This continues until one player runs away, dies, or somehow ends the fight by offering peace, bribing, etc.

RATED R!
Yes, this site is Rated R! This is a story of an island packed with convicts who are all on death row! There will be murder, gore, sex, rape, drugs, etc There will be NO WARNING STICKERS either. This site is Rated R, not bits and pieces. If you can't handle it, then why are you on the site in the first place?

RULE #3
CHARACTER CREATION
When you make your character, you will give him/her a reasonable name. No McLovens, Ben Dovers, etc. You will also put what crimes they committed, or were accused of, to get themselves on Death Row. You may be innocent, but you still got convicted.

Also, because this is a competition, you are allowed only TWO CHARACTERS, one male and one female to keep the spread even.

If your character is killed, you may feel free to create another IF you have only created one character! Your two characters MAY interact with each other if you have two living. Yes, you may kill one off, but remember how that will hurt your advantage!

You may have both characters on one account, just be sure to make it clear who you are rping as.

No unkillable characters, god characters, etc. This is a realistic rpg, which means you do not have a robot character, they aren't an alien, or a psychic. They are not master black belts or master swordfighters. Please, be reasonable and realistic. If you truly want to be a master black belt, you better have a damn good story behind it. Also, be realistic with dimensions here. I know there ARE big giant people in the world, but on this island, your character is between the heights of 5'4" and 6'10". They are between 100 and 350 pounds. And when I say 350, I mean a fat guy, not some muscle steroid freak. Unless you truly want to be a steroid muscle freak, then, once again, you better have a damn good story behind it.

Have a good picture! Whether it's a celebrity, anime character, etc. Just make sure we know what you look like.

No advertising anywhere except the advertising forum. Another quick way to banville.
Don't fuck around. Don't act like an idiot. Use common sense. I'm pretty slack with the rules, but if you don't think you should do it, then don't do it. I'll be the judge of common sense as well.

Look if you screw around, you're gone. I'm not playing this "1 strike, one week ban" shit. If you fuck around, I'm getting rid of you. End of story.

MINIMUM POST LENGTH
Look, I want at least one good paragraph. 5 sentences minimum, that IS NOT HARD! Though I would prefer if your posts were longer, this is the minimum. And don't think you'll just get a warning if you post less. The Guard will make sure something bad happens to you in the story. So watch out!

Go have fun! These rules are pretty slack in my opinion! Feel free to do as you please as long as you abide by my simple rules!
