Toad chuckled, quietly so as not to wake Kurt. This time, he had truly outdone himself. At least, he thought so. It would certainly get back at Kurt for his last prank. Of course, it was friendly. Kurt was his undoubtable friend, and a fellow prankster. He'd be fine with it. At least, Toad hoped so...

His ingenius design was almost done. He'd just put on the finishing touches of sticking Kurt to his bed with massive amounts of crazy string, not to mention a crazy string canopy around the bed. And then on top of that he'd spelled out "Good Morning Kurt" on the ceiling. It was perfect, Toad decided, as he admired his work from his place stuck to the ceiling.

Except then Toad realized the flaw of the plan. With the canopy in place, he was trapped inside as well. That or risk wrecking his meticulously placed prank. And Toad had worked far too hard on it. Then again it could always be placed over Kurt as reinforcement to his stuck appendages. He couldn't just teleport out could he? Toad hoped not.

Unfortunately, before the green mutant could do much else, Kurt's alarm clock went off. Toad sighed, and wished he'd had Kurt's powers...

As Kurt's alarm clock went off, he mumbled a bit, not knowing yet that he was stuck to the bed. That wouldn't come until a second later when he tried to move his tail to hit the alarm and found it stuck fast. "Was das?" he said in German as he woke up more, trying to move his arms in legs in surprise.

And then he glanced up, noticing his green, slimy friend caught in the canopy of silly string above him. Smiling a bit, he laughed as he said, "Good morning, Toad. Ya knov, Toad, part of pulling off a prank iz getting avay from it." He continued to laugh, thinking this was hilarious as he nodded towards his alarm. "Could you turn zhat off for me vhile I try to zhink of hov to get up vizhout becoming az bald az normal people?" He figured Toad's tongue could reach the alarm from where the green dude was trapped.

Kurt started to try to pry himself up from his bed-o-silly-string. He continued laughing the whole time. This was a good prank...and it would be very hard to out-do. Maybe he'd have to pull other people in on the next prank he pulled with Toad...which reminded him...

"Toad, vhat are you doing today? I vaz zhinking maybe ve could vork togezher to zet up one of zeh teacher'z office in a prank." Of course...they were pretty much knowing as the pranksters in the school. But who could yell at them with their adorable faced...or, at least take them seriously with their coloration.

Toad sighed, his face the picture of seriousness before Kurt began laughing. By that point there was no holding it back, as the green mutant joined his blue friend in laughter. The fact that Kurt was never mad at him was always a bonus. It made pulling the pranks much less stressful. He never had to worry about how his buddy would react.

"Oi leave gettin' away from stuff to be your thin'," Toad replied, grinning as he shot out his tongue and turned off the alarm. He let his hands go, letting the string his leg was trapped in take hold and keep him dangling from the ceiling. Which worked for a total of two seconds before his weight could no longer be supported, and he fell to the ground with a WHUMP.

Toad pulled his face up off the floor, still grinning. "Eh, Oi'm not doin' too much today. Ya should know boi now Oi don't got no schedule," Toad added. He then got up and walked around the bed, tugging at the string a little to see if it would come off easily. Such was not the case. He winced. Toad had completely forgotten that Kurt was not just blue, but covered in fur. He didn't mean to hurt him.

"Can't you just bamf out?" the cockney asked, with a half hearted and more apologetic grin.

Kurt smiled as he chuckled to Toad falling on the floor, especially when he got up fine. He was glad that he and Toad shared the same sort of humor, and could be fine when it was done to them. He commented about the schedule, "You knov zhat zeh day I azzume you're not doing anyzhing, you're going to have a zmoking hot date to go on and I don't vant to make you chooze betveen zome hotty or me, becauze I knov I'd looze." Kurt chuckled a little, smiling. If Toad ever got a date, Kurt was sure he'd be one of the first people Toad would run screaming happily to.

Kurt smiled a bit to Toad's apologetic grin, replying, "I'm sure zhat I can vizh no problemz. Don't vorry, Toad." With that, he teleported to the other side of the room...taking the mattress with him. After standing there a few seconds, the mattress fell down, only taking a little fur with it. Smiling to Toad, he said, "Zee, it juzt needed a little help from gravity. Excuze me a moment, I vant to take a zhover." He then teleported into the bathroom.

A moment was all he needed. Soon he was back, brushing his shoulder carefully with a brush as he grinned to Toad. "Zee, comez off eazy az...um...zomezhing zhat comez off eazily."

Toad sighed in relief as Kurt managed to get off the mattress with no problems. He hadn't completely thought his plan through, one of the few flaws of his prankster nature. However, the impulsiveness made it more of a surprise. Either way, he didn't mean to or want to hurt his blue friend with something as silly as crazy string.Feeling like he should make up for it, Toad put the mattress back on the bed and began picking off the bits of crazy string left on it.

As soon as Kurt got out of the shower, Toad laughed a little at Kurt's comment. "Uh, don't people norm'ly count in that expression? Easy as one, two, three? Oi never understood that." Toad offered.

"So," Toad said, rocking back on his heels, "Oi was thinkin' of pranks, an' the only thing Oi got definite is that we gotta do it to the Stepford Whack-jobs, or wotever they're called."

It's not that Toad particularly disliked the Stepford Sisters. It's just that he hated the snobs, and they didn't like him either. Plus, they totally started it with snide comments about his appearance and smell... things that were his mutation and beyond his control. Besides, they were the ones that were practically siamese quintuplets, with the shared mind and whatnot... they were the freaky ones.

Of course Toad also didn't realize that the telepaths were probably reading his mind right that second...

((Sorry Brandon, but based on your other posts I figured this is how Toad would feel towards them))
