AJ Styles vs Christian Cage, Ladder Match

I Am starts playing and the crowd goes nuts, AJ makes his way down to the ring going under a ladder in the process. He picks up a steel chair and positions it in the ring and waits for his opponent

Take Over hits the arena and Cage wastes no time by running down the ramp and sliding in the ring...

[AJ Styles]

AJ stomps on Christian as he slides into the ring not allowing him to get up. AJ runs to the ropes but gets met with an elbow from Christian, he picks AJ up and hits him with a european uppercut but AJ turns and hits a pele kick

Cage is stunned from the kick but quickly regains his composure to see Styles running at him full speed. He quickly rolls out of the way seconds before Styles reaches him. Styles runs into the turnbuckle as Cage rises to his feet. Styles turns around to be met with a right hook from Cage. The impact from the punch sends Styles back into the turnbuckle, Cage takes advantage by working AJ's midsection with a series of jabs. Styles breaks the punching flurry by delivering a quick jab to Cage's forehead. Cage stumbles back as Styles quickly climbs the turnbuckle. AJ jumps off the turnbuckle and aims for Cage but he is met with a quick dropkick by Cage which brings him to the mat. Cage quickly rises and runs against the ropes, bounces off, runs back towards AJ, and delivers a knee drop to the face. Cage rises again and attempts a repeat of his previous move but AJ gives a quick kick to the face which knocks Cage on his butt...

[AJ Styles]

AJ goes behind Christian and nails a stiff kick to the back... he picks Christian up and snap suplexes him and puts him in a headlock to wear him down. Christian fights his way too his feet and nails AJ in the gut with elbows and follows up with a DDT. As Christian positions the ladder in the middle of the ring AJ allows him to climb a couple of steps then goes behind him and powerbombs him down to the mat. AJ then starts climbing and reaches out for the win

Aj is about to catch it, he grabs it!!

But Cage is shaking the ladder, he is losing grip, Aj has fell off!.

Cage stares at the fallen AJ with a sinister look in his eyes. He positions the ladder on top of AJ's stomach and begins to climb the turnbuckle. Cage jumps off the top rope and does a stomp onto the ladder. AJ continues to lie on the mat holding his stomach and groaning. Cage picks him up by the head and pulls him to his feet. He gives a quick kick to AJ's stomach and follows through with a evenflow DDT onto the ladder. Cage stands up and begins to stomp on AJ's chest and stomach. AJ grabs Cage's ankle and trips him which causes Cage to land back first onto the ladder. Both men are on the floor trying to regain their composure. The both begin to slowly rise from the attack until they both are on their feet. AJ gives a kick and sets up for a Styles Clash but Cage wiggles free at the last second. He postions himself behind AJ and delivers the Unprettier. Cage sets up the ladder and begins to climb the ladder.

AJ slowly stands up as Christian holds the back of his head in agony. AJ picks Christian up and positions him on top of the top turnbuckle, then he puts a steel chair in the middle of the ring planning something wicked, he starts climbing the ropes but Christian fights him off, AJ runs to the ropes and jumps onto the top turnbuckle and hits a HUGE frankensteiner with Christian landing on the chair. AJ slowly stands up and moves the ladder in the center of the ring, Christian looks like he's out cold so AJ starts climbing the ladder

Cage quickly regains his composure and jumps up and leaps to the ladder. He knocks the ladder and Styles falls down and racks himself on the ring ropers. Cage stumbles over the ropes where Styles is hanging and begins to shake it up and down to add more pain to the already existing agony. After about thirty seconds of the rope assault Cage clotheslines AJ to the outside of the ring. Cage slides under the ropes and walks to where AJ is laying. He begins to stomp AJ's back repeatedly. A sinister look goes over Cage's face as he seems to have an idea. He walks over to the announcer and steals his steel chair. He walks back to AJ but the ref tries to take the chair away, but his attempts are useless due to the fact that the match is a ladder match which makes it no disqualification. Cage pushes the ref out of the way and swing the chair at the back of AJ and it....Connects. A sinister smashing sound is heard as Cage begins to smack the chair on AJ's back more and more. Cage then puts AJ's leg in the chair and jumps on the apron. He jumps off to stomp the chair but AJ lifts the chair up and it hits Cages face leaving both men unconscious.

AJ slowly makes his way to his feet holding his back in agony... he picks the chair up and Christian in the stomach with it for good measure. He rolls into the ring and picks up the ladder and sets it up but doesn't see Christian sliding in behind him, as AJ starts climbing Christian forearms his back and picks AJ up on his shoulders in the electric chair position knocking the ladder over in the process, AJ struggles trying to get off Christian shoulders but he's in too much pain in his lower back. Christian slams him down back first on the ladder resulting in screams of sheer agony from AJ.

Even though it was Christian who delivered the devastating electric chair drop AJ and him both remain lying on the floor. Both men slowly rise to their feet until they are completely up. AJ delivers a toe kick to the midsection of Cage and delivers a snap suplex that just barely misses ladder. AJ grabs the ladder and sets it up and begins the climb with his back to Cage. Cage quickly realizes he is seconds away from losing the match. He quickly hops up and uses the little momentum that he has to climb the other side of ladder. By the time he makes it to the top AJ is in reach of the briefcase that hangs from the top. He delivers a jab that almost sends AJ flying off the ladder. AJ retaliates with a punch of his own. The two trade blows for a while until Cage grabs the back of AJ's head and slams it face first into the unforgiving ladder, causing him to fall backwards back to mat. Cage looks up and see's the case within inches reach. He begins to grab for it.
