today i had some time and some proper ideas. biggrin.gif
so i continued building my kotbash titan No4.
this time it will become about warlord scale.
.
but said enough ... here are some pics ...
let#s start with the head, first.:

well i wanted to make it look not that animal like as all my other titans are but little more than the default warlord does ...
so i came up with the idea of using the droppods base unit as kind of jaws and teeth and imho it tirned out pretty well ...
.

with this part finished i had to find a good solution to put some pilots in.
here's what i came up with:
simply creating a 3seated cockpit out of 2 land speeders ... :

-
with some additional parts and door to enter it looked like this ... :

-
and attached to the torso ...

-
and as i wanted to keep huge parts of the torso open i decided to add some shoulderweapons with little more detail, than just some stiff turbolasers ... wink.gif

-
and this brings us to the point where i stopped working for today as i'll have to go to bed, now ... tongue.gif

Wow Bob its already impressive and I hope you are getting a killer deal on the kits you are using to make it smile.gif

From what I read in "Firewarrior" some of the Titans had many many crew and yours is the first that gives me the impression that there are more than just 3 operating it...

Looking forward to more,

Mud

Your a constant inspiration Mr Panda and your latest effort is looking amazing so far. I like the balcony above the head, can imagine an Imperial commander using it to survey the battlefield before telling the gunners the best stuff to blow up smile.gif

ohmy.gif

the use of GW parts is... is... pure genius!

two questions:

1) what did you used as main frame for the legs?
2) what did you used or made as recoil cover or cooling part in your heavy weapons?

Thanks in advance and thank you very much for sharing! thumbs_up.gif

1.: those are 3 cell phone mounts for car wind shields on each leg. thumbs_up.gif
2.: chipcoolers, normally used as headsinks on motherboards. cool.gif

The use of tertrain to make a vehicle is inspired! Really brings home how big titans are. Like walking cathedrals... but with guns.

The weapons are awesome but the legs are simply outstanding! Can't wait to see this completed and standing with your other Titans.

rule one of the imperial guard guardsman guidebook.

do not walk so close near a titan, he will lose some shellcasings along the combat way. blink.gif
