I only just saw your test model a few pages back. This Necron force is going to be amazing if the whole army is going to be painted like that!

that's the attempt, though how i'm going to do it is in question, as the way i did the first one i decided was to time consuming for an entire army, but i'm working on it:) and i dont' want them to be overdone either.

Well, i'm actuy waiting for the new paints to come out to so i can see if yellow glaze will do what i want... But in a desire to not be stagnant, i started workig on the scarabs i have (feel free to contact me if you have any scarabs layong around that need a home... I could use 50 more:)

I know what you mean. If you look close at some of my units, there is often one who looks better than the rest because I picked it out first.
More than 50? Why not cast a few. I do the same with small skeleton heads, because you cannot get them separately. The scarab is a perfect model to cast. As long it is for personal use I don’t think that will be a big problem. -------------------- Rivets rule!

Your army is finally taking shape. The blue weapons give them a nice contrast. Well choosen.

Maybe it’s the light, but the rust on the bases looks better now. Did you give it a wash or a darker layer of weathering powder?

They are looking real good. I was thinking of doing something similar with white. Those scarabs working out ok? They look good from here.
