With every new post you raise the bar even higher. Amazing builds, loving the truks and bikes very much.

But, I think you promised an army pic after the second truk was finished so... wink.gif

Keep up the great job!

Very nice warbike. Properly dirty and orky, and it still pops. I like it thumbs_up.gif

Your models are very inspiring man! Makes me wanna collect and paint Orks this instance!

And that is one hell of a bike you converted there. Also good to see you used different type of wheels. Much better that those of the original GW model. Keep up the good work!

Thank a lot guys!

Although I wanted to finish all the "in progress" stuff before buy new model, I'm weak and cannot resist to buy the new Bomba, even if I decide to do some conversion research on it...

One of my ideas was to add a propeller, just because an aircraft SHOULD have one. The result looks like some US racer or maybe the Fleet air arm mid 50 Fairey Gannet.

I can’t blame you wink.gif

Great idea to add the propeller. I am curious to see how this will turn out.

Nice looking bikes. I love the propeller, very simple but changes the whole look of the model.

I really like the propeller idea though it might be a little to big.

I'd like to co-op the idea but I'm gonna be building most of mine as turbojets so they will retail the jet engine.

Thanks!

The propeller is rather big, your right. In fact I'm afraid if it was real thing, it will the plane who turn!
But it's ork stuff!

Considering propulsion, I Use the intermediate ring (parts 5/6) and glue it inside the body, so it is a turbo prop in fact.

Next step on the Dakkajet : I add the landing gear and some details. The gunnery will be grouped to avoid ammo dispersion.

There is a lot of detail to complete, especially around the cockpit. I don't know yet if I should add a part between the hood and the tail and how this hood will open.

The next will be the Bruna Bomba conversion, not yet finalized, but I found a conversion to new turret in the Grumann "Avenger" spirit.

love the work you have done to the new jet.

One thing bugged me. The wheels. See if you can get the of the wheels from the ork truck i think it is. The ones that have some curved metal added to them just makes them look orky

I think you're right about the wheels.
I will see if I can found some in my bitz box and try.

Well done and you have just provided me inspiration to build an Ork flyer that will tie splendidly with my Orks theme. I wanna turn that pig into a STUKA! I think that will rock nicely thumbs_up.gif

you can add a piece of plastic to the back of the cockpit. I think it looks like the middle part of the cockpit is able to slide backwards, that way opening enough space for someone to climb in & out. (although, will an Ork ever leave HIS plane? that would make it way tooo easy for his 'companions' to grab his plane and have some fun with it, including some 'bang', 'boing', 'ooooops!' and 'kaa-booooom'...)

Thank you very much!

A Stuka bomba could be great indeed. The point will be to found a way to built the W wing and the landing gear.

@ Fireball : I like your idea very much, I'll try to built the device this evenning.
Thanks!

Thanks for the link! A very nice idea.

Hard work last night to found the Burna variant and his defensive turret. My idea was to use the same device seen on the Grumann Avenger, and the good news is that the original parts pass very well without modification :

I'm rather happy : the Bomba is now finished. It is always possible to add details, but I should eventually finish.

Last changes done concerns the engine exhausts, I replaced the original system using the kit louvre to make exhaust pipes on each side.

Some change are done on the rear to change the cockpit system :

Next step the paintwork, I will turn to something rather simple not to confuse the conversion.
I hope you like.

What a great conversion! Clean, and sensible. You have both personalized and improved the model.

So inspiring!

What did you use for the nose? The bit that the blades are attached to? I'm looking at this and I'm thinking "Thunderbolt conversion!"

Thank you very much boyz!

About the nose, I just use the part 32 from the box, the reactor final part. It fit very well if you just shorten the nose a little.

A P47 Thunderbolt version could be very nice using another engine.

Yeah, I thought so, but the very tip, the bullet shaped piece. What is that made from?

Oh, and just a question, how do the wings work? I mean, ok, you got the hull, the wing mounts on either side of the hull (with the small intakes and thrusters at the end) and wings. Then you got the guns that go between the mounts and the wings. When ever I see flyers with them, the wings are slanted upwards, though some have the wings on the level. Is this a conversion or does the bits with the guns allow different positions?
