Long story short I'm making a wazdakka based on a halo3 brute chopper and logging my progress. I hope you guys will enjoy watching this project come along as much as I'm enjoying building it.

As above, this is based on a halo3 brute chopper toy which is amzingly scaled perfectly to 40k. I am changing a great deal about it however to make it good and "propa."

Anyway, on to the pictures.

Pretty awesome, but remember to orkify the sides. They're unkonverted at the moment.

-Sir, they said there's some distraction in the Warp.
-You mean distortion, don't you?
-No, sir. Distraction. Ever heard of, um, Daemonettes?

The exhaust needs to be beefed up and made more orky. Other wise I really like this especially the big wheel on the front.

Terrorbore: Bellow the seat wink.gif

Hookie: Mostly parts from the warbike kit but I'm going to modify the head and powerklaw. I haven't finalized anything yet.

Also, guys, it's very wip still so the exhaust isn't done and I still have a lot of orkification to do so gimme a break on that stuff for now wink.gif

Thanks for the comments though, please keep them comming. I'll get a pic soon that shows the scale for the next update.

So I moved across the country/continent and I'm finally settled. I haven't yet set up an ideal photography area so the pictures leave a little to be desired but I hope that the size of this update makes up in some small way for the massive lack of updates.

These first two shots I made ages ago and nearly forgot about them. they were obviously going to be part of an update that should have followed closely to my last one. Anyway here they are for posterity. I took these to show the general scale with an ork in the seat and also some work on the dakkacannon.

Now between those and these I did a lot of work. I tried to scratch as mutch as I could. I still have a great deal to do but I'm a lot closer now and I think that you can really see where I'm going with this now. Some things I'm adding soon are more chains, the handlebars, and a few more armor plates and gubbins.

And here's a closeup of the bosepoles. I know it's hard to see the detail but I'm going to take some really good pics once it's painted up. I was set on making my own rather than using bits. I'm not sure why but I just felt compelled.

And here's the boss himself. Not finished yet but he's very close. The only thing's I can think of are some work to his head/face and a few more chains or something to give him a grittier look.

I used the picture in the codex as a starting point but I had to change him around for my own tastes. I hate topknots so that was out and I wanted to do the powerclaw slightly different. I also had to make him a slugga that looked like it could actually fit in his hand and was custom looking. I don't think it's perfect but orks have huge hands compared to everything else and that made the scaling difficult. Then I bulked his arms up to make him looking like a proper warboss.

I hope you guys enjoy this update and thanks for looking.

Oh my Emperor! I hate Orks... except for this one!! He is so sweet, with the shells coming out of the crate and the slugga is just awesome.

(When I got the AOBR set I thought about converting the deff koptas into choppers. I didn't know that they had produced the actual choppers though)

Everyone complains that all their models look better in real life, mine always look better in the pictures...
