In case you are wondering, Oh My God what the heck is the name I have given to whatever this thing is.
Most of the body, and the whips were made by me using Fimo clay. The rest are just spare parts from my carnifex.
I did want this thing to be bigger, like a Mother Hivetyrant, with rippers bursting from its chest and termagaunts hatching from its back, but I just don't have the money or pieces to build something like that.
So there we have it, one unfinished Ravener/Trygon with whips, scythes and some kind of gun.
Likey?

Mod Edit; we dont tend to use net speak here, so please try and refrain from using it, i have edited it as best i can to what you previously had it as so it now is a bit more sensible- Terrorbore

Interesting sculpt. A little hard to see with the pictures and single black color at the moment.
From what I can see though it looks like you left a few fingerprints, can you sand Fimo? Maybe a fine grit sandpaper could help smooth out some of the fingerprints.
It would make a great objective in a capture and control game.
I would love to see the fingerprints smoothed out some and this beastie painted up. Even if you go for a glossy alien geiger look a few different tones of black, and some silver white highlights would make it pop.

You don't use internet speak on the web? Wierd... Anyway, noted for future reference.
Yeah, I painted it all black to see where my fingerprints were, I just haven't got around to sanding it yet.
The colourscheme will probably remain a shiny black along with red (not silver) so it matches my/my brother's army.
Anyone got any ideas for alternate names? I was going to call it an OMGWTFITT, but noone seemed to get it and it got edited. I was thinking something like the Hecker.

No internet speak - because while this is a English speaking forum, many forum members do not have English as their first language and can find English hard to understand at the best of times, let alone when English has been butchered into leet/net speak.

And it would have been far easier to let the greenstuff dry and have a strong light source over the model. When the greenstuff had been sanded, then undercoat it. Instead your now running the risk that when you undercoat the areas you've sanded, your going to cover up detail.

Look at the naming style used with the other tyranids. Carnifex is the latin for executioner. Termagant can refer to a bullying person, or a shrewish woman. Hormagaunt is the name of a legendary monster in the novel The Killing Machine, by Jack Vance. Lictor was a Roman word for what is essentially a bodyguard. Just do a little research and figure out how your creature attacks.

Yea some of us are older then 13 and try to speak somewhat proper English (even if we don't all spell it properly all the time). We have an entire rules section of other things we don't like that you should go read too.

Yep, "net speak" is the one thaing that REALLY rubs me the wrong way. As has been mentioned in previous posts, we prefer "net speak" not be used here as we are a forum that has many members that are both from North America and abroad. We have time when we type out our posts to proof-read, edit and alter things before hitting that "add reply" button at the bottom. So take your time... there's no risk of you on-line persona getting "fragged" or "owned" while you type.
Thank you, that concludes this public service message... we will now continue with our regularly scheduled forum.

Well, admittedly, I don't really use net speak much either, but I just liked the idea of it having an acronym for a name...
Well, this is probably never gonna get finished, as I've made a start on my alternate Warriors and Hive Mother (something I made up. I mean, something's got to create these monsters when needed) which are snakey creatures that slither instead of run.
Plus, I don't like it much.
Although I did think of a name. I decided I am gonna call it Pnixon (pronounced p-NI-xon) derived from the greek word to strangle or drown.

Not a very good name, though, is it? The creature I am making is more of a creature that respawns fallen 'Nids a lot closer or actually on the battlefield.
But basically I just make my models for fun. I've only ever played Warhammer Fantasy battles.
