Admech General - Grand Artificer, Mechanicus Marilyn Manson!

Okay, here's the work in progress so far; I've still to do the Sorceress Edea-inspired backpiece, as well as some general filling-in work, but what do people think? What does it need? (Other than maybe great big mechanical arms around the back...)

looks mighty fine to me.
 deng dude, nice work with the epoxy there. like the weirdness of the model the most,its not all esthetic in the mechanicum(that,s for sure) very nice  |

That's relatively deliberate; I want my AdMech to look more like the Strogg from Quake 2 / 4 than traditional AdMech. I'm also playing around with the idea of an AdMech + Necron army for Apocalypse (because my gf likes the Necron). If I do , I'll convert the Necron elements to look a bit more like Servitors than robots, with the implication that the AdMech are / have become basically Necrontyr v 2.0.

Update!
He's mostly (MOSTLY) finished, though there are still a few details I'm not overly happy with; I need to acquire some copper paint for the engine on his back, and I've not quite finished the base. Anyway, I'm rambling. Here he is, in all his horrible Davros-For-The-40K-Universe majesty. Grand Artificer Kane - Front, Painted Grand Artificer Kane - Right Side, Painted Grand Artificer Kane - Left Side, Painted Grand Artificer Kane - Rear View, Painted Any hints on detailing the base would be greatly appreciated; I've only started doing bases this week  |

He really is perfect, so atmospheric and 40k. Definitely the sort of thing John Blanche would draw.
