Well I wanted to try making a video game character into a warhammer model so I decided to try Richter Belmont from Castlevania. Even though he's a vampire hunter I will be using him in my Vampire Counts army as a vampire. If for what ever reason I feel like fielding Konrad I will use Richter as him.

for those who don't know what he looks like this is an artwork of him

since I will be painting him like this he will look a bit funny since the rest of my army is mostly black and dark red.

parts used: The legs are Empire militia, torso is IG tank commander, the upper half of each arm are from the catachan command box, the hands are from empire militia, the whip is from vampire corpse cart, the head is a bretonnian knight errant.

Nice i like the idea and the pose, may look a bit out of place against your vampire army but hey the enemy within. Cant wait to see it with a splash of paint really nice work, got any plans for other figures from game's..... i really want to do the guy from assasins creed maybe one day...................

I want to do Samus Aran from Metroid, maybe as a Tau stealth suit or Commander Shadow Sun. Making her will be really hard, will probably have to use a stealth suit as the base model and rely more on the paint job.

so I've done some painting, granted I'm not a good painter so I don't do a lot of dry brushing or anything too complected but this is what I've done so far.

this is a picture of part of his back so you can see what it's supposed to look like

I still need to do a bit of touch up, especially on the belts and boots but the problem there is that I used a mixture of scorched brown and bastille brown but it wasn't an exact mix so I'm going to have to experiment and hopefully find the right mixture so I can fix spots on the brown parts.

I have a question though, what kind of ink or wash could I use on the skin to get into the recesses of it?
