A big sorry, Br. Weasel! I apologise my fault of posting casted gw-bitz. Learning by getting blamed is one way to learn (in future I read the rules) I think these pictures will go in line better with the forumrules.
I primed the lift and for compense my fault I put a little wall-e in the pics!

The elevator looks great and fits nicely on the landing pad..... One question: Where did you get that large Adeptus Mechanicus logo? Or is it a scratch made one? It looks brilliant.

Thanks for the info! I have to take a close look on the Forgeworld area on the german Games Day on sunday for this little bugger because I need some of them for my plan of a techmarine workshop. I love the Wall-E movie...this little fellow is so great!

White or grey. White stands out well against the rest of the model, but grey fits the colour scheme better, seeing as the base of the pillar is grey too. I love the elevator btw, great idea.

Too much bare metal on the back and top sections (the platformer kits, I think). It would look better if you added some color, as you did with the other sides. Maybe it's not done yet?
The other parts (with green, etc.) look very good. I like the two metallics together also.

Yes I know what you mean, the front plate looks to metalic - i think so too. I will add some detail paintjobs. On the following pics you can see some detailwork I started with. The "entrace"wall downstairs will be covered by the elevator itself. On the roof I will paint the tubes in a differend colour and the barrel too. The "exit"backwall wont be seen, because it lays to way back in the shadow.
Thank you for your criticism!
the pics with some detailwork, like painted wires, tubes and knobs ...

after a break of a few days I started to paint the mainpart of the landingpad, the landingpad itself.
have a look what I've done so far:
the skulls get a bonecolour, of course the little aquilla will get a golden paint the lamps metall and the big black parts get a pattern of black and yellow stripes.
I thougt to paint the big aquillas in a white shape, what do you think, maybe a golden or brass look will fit better?
