I've been absent as of late due to some complications with scheduling (baby...wohooo my little future wargaming buddy!) But here's the little things I've been working on. Please excuse the pictures as they're with my phone, my wife has the real camera while visiting the in-laws.

#1 What sniper team is compete without a spotter? Spotter drone for broadside sniper, shield drone count-as.

#2 cool shield drone for my CO This one is made of the markerlight drone type things that are on the sky ray turret.

#3 Markerlight drone made with real markerlight pieces.

#4 Last but not least, my soon to be XV9 counts as or if they don't work out so well a very niffty looking XV8.
I'm very pround of the pack, I think it came out very well. I managed to find some great grill work in my bits giving it actually intakes . The main vectored thruster meets nicely at the center of the three (you can't tell because of picture quality but I cut pack that square plastic beam to where the three nozzles open up to the big thruster. I did a lot of cutting and filing on the torso to fit some fo those bits. As you can tell I took some design elements from my previous two suits. Next up is to magnatize the pack and make some wings for it. Also the dual twin-linked burst cannon shall look positively EVIL!

This was a horribly abused Piranha I picked up with an Ebay auction some time ago. I managed to pick it apart and try my hand at a version of JC's conversion. The primer is me experimenting with Army Painter so It's still very much a WIP. I wanted a "glass" cockpit but I was unsure of what size to use so I just went with a 'fish cockpit, so now it has less the heli look and more a Variable wing CAS fighter/bomber. My engine mounts are the arm connections for a dreadnought that worked out rather nicely. Other than that is basically identical as far as form. I have yet to fix the flying stand angle but that will come later. The green stuff work needs some sanding and shaping too. Other than that I'm pretty please and it'll make a nice addition to my army. Thanks JC!

Great job! I've done a few Drone conversions for my Engineering Company, but I like what you've come up with. (stolen)

Also have a dead Piranha myself. Thought about making a pod-racer, and like how yours is kicked up in the back... like a helicopter when it first starts moving forward when it takes off. Must try... thumbs_up.gif
