King Crab Tank

During the Taus advance in technology a few years back the Heavy
Hitting Tau King Crab was created.
It was designed for times when Tau would get stuck on Siege Worlds.

The key to victory for tau is to keep moving.
So a smart commander when bogged down in siege warfare they
would use a Manta to drop in King Crab Tanks to take over for HammerHeads
so they can move and shoot instead of being bogged down and getting destroyed
in a siege battle.

So the King Crabs with extra armor and protection with there slower but move
and shoot abilities can destroy the enemy and be able to hold the lines
in a siege why the rest of the army moves and keeps taking more and more
ground.

Thats my thinking behind it.

And wow yes the claws open and close and inside are burst cannons!


not only do the claws close but then they also move up against the front
of the tank to protect it.

Here is the hammerhead on and other options it can have.
Weapons are Magnetized and can switch in and out with a simple click of the
magnet.. nice.

i like, it kinda makes me think that if the tau were to copy a dark eldar talos, this is what they'd make.

i think the main body could use a little something to make it a little asymmetrical. not a lot, just a smooth "hump" made to look like some tau tech, if that makes sense

It's so neat and clean and tauish.

MY only gripe would be that the legs look a little untau ish, tau are generally quite clean and smooth, the legs still look defilerish. Still looks amazing, cant really think of much that I would change... If i was capable of converting to such quality

Maybe you could make a kroot one? Some sort of marsh crawling close combat croot crab.

Reminds me that I need to buy more zoids models.

mabye you could add some pads to the legs?

GD can you tell me how large the main body is... in inches? I am thinking about getting this puppy and adding a custom long barreled twin linked assault cannon to it... add in the "assault cannons" in the claws and you will have a bad A SM crab tank

the round body itself is a 3 inch circle.
The overall do to the legs in the back and the claws out the front
is 5.5 inches.
