Lt. Walke - October 5, 2005 03:12 AM (GMT)
I am sure that there are times that people wonder where I get all these numbers names and specifications. Well I am going to give you all that info with links and photos as well as explaining the Names.

First of all for those who did not notice all my tanks are named identical to the inspirational tank, just backwards spelling.

So the
M41 Godllub is actually based on the M41 Bulldog (the Walker tag was added after production) and is a light tank

M42 Retsud is actually based on the M42 Duster (a M41 variant ) A self propelled AA piece

M41A3 FMB aka Beaver is actually based upon the M60 AVLB The FMB is in refernce to Folding Mobile Bridgelayer and was so named in honour of FitmanB in building the chassis that it sits upon.

M48 Nottap is actually based on the M46, M47, M48, and later M60 Patton tanks, It is a Medium Battle tank

M53A2 Nidalap SPG is based upon the M53/M55 series SPG and the M109 series Spgs.

M56 Niaprocs S.P.A.T. is based upon the M56 Scorpian. Used by the airbourne during the Vietnam Conflict.

M113 ACAV never had a name. But was the mainstay of the ACAV during Vietnam. A link to my inspiration M113

M728 CEV well it just is. CEV stands for Combat Engineering Vehicle It is a M48 Patton armed with a snub nose 165mm cannon. For WIP check out thread on the M48 as that is I will post progess.

M992A2 Mule is based upon a M992 FAASV crossed with a M53/M55 Hull (see above Vehicle for links).

As I think of them I will add more you will notice that there are links within each description.

Lt.

*Edit: I have decided to use this thread as a highway to all of the different Imperial Guard Vehicles, That I have made or will make (obviously I am referring to updating the thread from time to time). Within each description I will post a link to my conversion as well as links to inspirational vehicles.*

I will be going away for a while, I should have access to the internet and modeling but we plan for the worst.

So to help anyone who would have questions of my work Lt. Walke thought this list of links would be helpful since I can not be.

On behalf of Sonic Monkey a guide to the Cadian "Cough" sorry Canadian Guard.

Here you go for that thread:

The Leopard C2 is Canada's main battle tank until it receives its new fleet of refurbished Leopard IIs. It is a modified Leopard 1A5 and is serving in Afghanistan, despite the fact that it has no air conditioning.

The LAVIII serves as the Canadian Army's primary Infantry Fighting Vehicle. Its 8x8 chassis is also the main platform for the Stryker family of vehicles delivered to the US Army. (Scratchbuilt follows the kitbash)

Because its armour was much too light against IEDs in Afghanistan, the Iltis was phased out of service from the Canadian Army.

Canadian Disruptive Pattern (CADPAT), is the digital camouflage pattern currently used by the Canadian Forces. It is used on all Canadian military battle dress, in Temperate Woodland (TW), Arid Region (AR), and Winter/Arctic (WA) versions.
