There are those who live apart from "civilization", those who prefer to live a life free from the constraints of society and embrace a life where the strongest survive by their own merits and abilities. Weaker people have many names for those who choose that life; "Cruel", "Savage", "Degenerate" "Barbarian". These weaklings cower and hide at the sight of these barbarians, who cry at the warcry of those warriors as they charge. Those they insult know that words have little meaning, but the swing of a sword and the fall of an axe means much, much more.

Dare to show the weaklings why they should be afraid of these so-called barbarians?

Well, its new contest time here at WIP. And the theme for this one is going to be a little different this time. We're asking you to show us what comes to mind when you think of the word barbarian, whatever that image may be, from whatever system you can think of.

This is a somewhat open brief, with a very open archetype, so let your imaginations and conversions run wild. And just to confirm that, yes, any mini system!

The rules are pretty simple;

1) A single mini, on a standard base that you feel best portrays the barbarian archetype. (Yes, it can be mounted or riding a relevant mini)

2) All entries due by 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time (GMT-8) on the 14/4/12 (April 14th, 2012).

3) All entries must be submitted with ONE 800x800 max photo (you may make it a collage, you may also send more, but only one will be posted) Any entries not fitting that criteria will NOT be entered (if there is time left you may fix and resend it.

4) All entries will be submitted to "The Contest Guy" (the contest guy may be one of several people, whoever is running that contest, or perhaps multiple people if deemed needed)

5) All judges rulings are final.

6) Voting will begin shortly after the 15th, and will last for approx 2 weeks.

Well, you can't win unless you try. Same goes for everyone. It's a competition, its supposed to be a challenge, but you can't win unless you try. ;)

And there's not that much competition if people don't enter, either!
