Well this is a weird one, I must have been haunting this place daily for many months by this point, and this is my first time to actually post anything! It's very daunting to try to nudge your way into an established community... anyway...

I found this place a long time ago through following a strange trail of GreyDeath's Tau stuff which I found intriguing, and I hung around to try to learn enough from the cool kids here to stop being quite so bad at the hobby.

And umm... I don't want to post anything I make 'cause it's embarrassing :thumbup: so I'll just try to comment on stuff. I also believe I can't paint, while I know I can't take pictures, so that doesn't help. And then there's affording those ever-increasing GW prices...

Members give you great advice on how you can improve your models and you get to know what other people think.

You know I think maybe if your unsure maybe post and put in your post.. Hi im new trying to figure out how to take better pics, paint better and do better work.
I think you will get the kind of help your looking for.

It's the people that come onto a site and go "Look at this amazing work I do I'm the greatest" then people tend to pick apart that persons model even if it is good.. it's all about how you get a long and join in and be a part of the site and group.. Everyone has to start some where.. I was picked on way back in the day for my horrible models and I still fail at 50% of my models.. but when I get some of them right and they turn out good it's like hitting that home run.. ya I strike out a lot and people boo me etc. but when I hit that 1 homer and everyone yells and screams and cheers then that makes it all worth posting my work and going for it.
