Description: Au Right!

So here is the original model as I bought it off of ebay. It had not one but THREE layers of paint on it. After stripping some paint off I got to work on the conversion.

Here's my progress so far. I plan on doing some greestuff work around the cockpit to help blend it in. I'm adding twin BC's under the chin for anti-infantry protection. I'll also add a SMS and some sort of seeker missle launcher to the back or top of the unit. Still deciding on closed cupola or open with a Tank Commander. I'll also have some Tau antennas to add to the top right and left of the cupola.

I like the look of this, it has an almost "Amroured Corp" look to it. Very cool. Are you going to be adding another weapon system to it at all, or just keeping it with the Twin linked, or Heavy 2 Rail gun?

I like it. This is something Tau could actually use (not like those ridiculous Gundam-Mech...)
I'd give the Hunter Drone-Relays. That way he could launch 6-8 Drones to defend itself against infantry.

Very cool. I like that you are going for a more battle damaged look, as I get kinda tired of seeing 'Parade Tau" all the time. Any idea what the original model started as? It kind looks like Dreamforge walker, but I cannot imagine someone cutting into such a priceless relic.

Oh it's getting a mess load of additional weapons! It's a Wanzer from Front Mission 3. There was a run of toys based off the mecha in the game and this is one of them. Search Amazon and you can find some still. As I make some progress I'll post more pictures. It will get a better paint job, this is the left overs of the stripepd paint combined with the original paint of the toy. It's still very much a WIP.

Nice converting of it to improve upon it and it really looks very much tau like now as well.
Keep us posted on your work I am also interested in seeing how it turns out.
Looks great so far.
