The Space Hulk Broodlord model is wonderfully detailed and full of character. It might be the best looking alien monster mini that GW has ever produced. I decided that all the Broodlords in my Tyranid army would use this model.

I wanted to leave one Broodlord model as it comes right out of the Space Hulk game box with no converting. I simply glued it to the 40 mm base, surrounded the edges with some small bits of slate and painted it.


This Broodlord was cut from his original Space Hulk base and mounted with a brass pin on a Dragonforge resin base. I also removed the lower hands and replaced them with scything talons from a GW Ravener kit.


This is the third of three Space Hulk Broodlords for my Tyranid army. A piece from GW's Imperial City and some diamond plate plastic card were used to convert the base after removing the Broodlord model from his original Space Hulk base.
