Title: Space Dwarfs...in 15mm?
Inso - September 19, 2009 10:25 PM (GMT)
There are very few in 28mm scale and there are none (that I know of) in 15mm scale...so I thought I'd make some :vryhppy: .
Start:

Bit more:

Bit more:

They are about 12/13mm tall and the larger minis are 28mm scale Dwarfs that are there just to show scale.
I just thought I'd post to see what the reception was like...15mm Space Dwarfs...good or bad?

Just a little bit more progress:

Seeing as this is such a popular topic  ...I thought I'd post a further update:
I'm nearly at a point where all of the Dwarfs are at the same point...and that means arms and guns next...then shoulder armour and heads...then feet and bases...then of to the caster  .
Of course, there is always extra info on my blog:
http://insosworld.blogspot.com/...but then, who wants to know about Dwarf land-mates ;) ?
EDIT...
They are all at the same stage now :) :

Well, I'd rather comment on them on the FoD ;) .

Only just saw it now!
Reaally looking good. Could be cool for 28mm as well

I have been thinking of 28mm versions...
...but I want to get these and a landmate finished before I do any bigger ones.

Aye, flesh out the rest of the range. Would be an interesting pair-up for the upcoming down-sized Quar.

No, I mean a Space Dwarf landmate ;) .
What I mean is:
It won't be Manga/Anime inspired.
It won't have an extra pair of arms.
It will be stocky and clunky...not spindly.
A landmate is just a big robot suit...that's what this will be.

Sorry but there is no Landmate progress...although the little guys now have a weapon arm (just waiting for guns now):

...here's a bigger one too (28mm scale):

You never know...there may be a few more at some point...who knows?!?
