1 Necron Lord- Destroyer Body, Resurrection Orb, Phase SHifter & Warscythe =210
20 Warriors= 360
15 Warriors= 270
5 Destroyers= 250
5 Destroyers= 250
8 scarb swarms = 96
1 Tomb Spyder=55
Total 1491 points
I think this is a pretty well balanced list that should be fun to build and completely different from my ork army. Wish me good luck. :thumbup:
I also have a monolith that I hope to add to the army but that might be a later project.

I'm not truly on expert on army lists, but why other warrior group is bigger than the other. If you drop that one to 15 warriors and add the points "earned" to those 0that you had not spent, you could have another Tomb Spyder? I only have experience of them on the receiving end of thinks but I didn't like them. And if you happen to loose one, you would still have one left.
About the monolith... it's still in the box then? Are you going to give it something extra like working lights maybe?

I may just do that drop both units to 15 and get another tomb spyder. THank you for the suggestion. My friend pointed out the value of the tomb spyders to me. I also have only been on the recieving end of necrons, I guess that is why I decided to do an army.
THe monolith I am going to convert the outside so that it looks like it is carved out of stone like the pyramids down in Mexico that are fully detailed. If that fails then I will just convert it probably put lights and all kinds of stuff in it.

After looking at adding a second tomb spyder I realized I had some wiggle room in my list. So here is the new list. Models will be appearing shortly.

I'm going to have to drop the Wraith I just realized that gave me 4 fast attack squads and I can only have 3 so back to the drawing board.
The paint scheme should look cool if I can pull it off.

looks nice... but as far as i know the necron lord can only have 100 points worth of wargear, and i have actually thought alot about that myself, but i think it includes the warscythe

I don't think the syth counts not at hoime so i can't check the book, army builder (though it's not official) says it's ok, and the FAQ doesn't say

So I had a change of plan for my necrons. I was going to make them red and from a firery planet. After the lord I lost interest in painting them which is bad, I got into painting my tank blue and silver. I tried the scheme on a warrior and liked it so now my warriors are blue and silver from an ice world.
