Fire Pack Clearing, Where the wolves of Fire Pack reside

[Wolves Alphess]

A tall rock stands near the center, before it is where the pack places their kill and where they eat. The Alpha's den is a cave on conveniently elevated ground where they can see the different dens nearby. The elder's den is to the left of the tall rock while dens of wolves and their mates are to the right of the rock, multiple holes in the ground or at the foot of trees which the wolves themselves have dug. Across the rock and the Alpha's den are three deep holes in the earth which are dens where mothers and their pups stay until the young ones are old enough to learn how to hunt.

Fortis was about to answer Roric's question but Minuet introduced herself before he did. For a moment, he wondered if he should introduce Roric. Since Minuet introduced herself, Fortis decided he should let Roric introduce himself as well.

"Minny!" Ferox made the wild, crazed bark of a hyperactive pup as he pounced, wanting to play with Minuet's tail.

He watched as this new wolf sat and sized him up, he met hear gaze evenly. Then he waited for Fortis to answer his question but before he had the chance the shewolf answered it instead.

Roric dipped his head politely and said "The name's Roric. Roric Xyrix. Nice to meet another wolf that doesn't want to flay me." He said before explaining. "I just joined yesterday, and the greeting I got are a little less than an acual welcome." He grinned sheepishly. "But hey, I'm still trying to fit in. It's only the second day right?"

[Dusk]

BiC: Dusk raised his head, ear flattened. His eyes were only half-open, and looking rather tired. "Wha?" Swiping a tongue around his muzzle, he paused briefly before realising he had gotten... lost. "How do you get lost in your own territory?!" He growled, "C'mon Dusk! You're supposed to be a healer in training!" I'll never make it The young wolf thought grimly to himself, pessimistic. What if the alpha thinks me a traitor? Running away. I'll never become the Healer for Fire pack.

Dragging himself to his paws, he shook himself, black fur fluffing up. "Hmph. I can't even remember what happened after we tried to hunt the biggest moose in the world. How long ago was it, anyways?"

Smiling slightly as Ferox attacked her tail, Minuet nodded her head. "Yes I joined not to long ago as well, but most of the wolves took a liking to me." She paused before continuing. "Well at least I think they did." She laughed easily.

[Alpha Fortis]

It was then that Ferox realized Minuet was right. Why was the pack treating Roric so negatively when they welcomed Minuet well enough. "Eh, they'll warm up to you sooner or later as well, Roric." The wolfdog said, trying to reassure him.

Ferox laughed as he toyed with Minuet's tail. After watching Ferox for a while, her own tail wagging, Forma joined in the fun.

[Roric X]

"Ya, I hope so. But wether or not they see it, I'm going to be loyal even though I wasn't born here. This is my new home, I'm gonna treat it like it was my first."

He sat back and watched as the pups attacked Minuet. Oh what fun it would be to get to be one of the pups again. Little scraps that can run around without ever slowing down.

Minuet jumped slightly as a second set of paws had founded her tail. She turned her head around and snarled. "Gently!" After realising that Roric had spoken she turned back to them. "Yes i plan to honour the pack as well. Even though, I wasn't born here either." She smiled. For some reason, she had taken a liking to this new wolf.

[Alpha Fortis]

"That'd be great," Fortis said, "It shouldn't matter whether or not we were born in a pack. What matters is how loyal we are to it." Then as a half-joke, he added, "Our packmates are just a little blind sometimes. Can't see a good, loyal wolf when he or she is standing right in front of them."

Ferox and Forma looked up at Minuet, little teeth bared in sheepish grins. "Sorry, Minny." they said in unison.

[Roric X]

Roric nodded to Minuet and smiled slightly at Fortis. Atleast there was something he shared with these wolves. None of the ones here, apar from the pups, were born here.

"It's okay you two. I'm just a little sore today." She smiled licking Ferox lightly before becoming serious. "Yes, they have been haven't they?" She smiled slightly. "I have definetly noticed that, they have been getting extremely rude." Then she added quickly as to not to offend, "To me they have been!" If she was a human she would have blushed.

[Alpha Fortis]

"It wouldn't be you only, Minuet." Fortis replied before chuckling as Ferox and Forma started play-fighting, blaming the other for hurting Minuet's tail.

"You bite too hard, Roxy!"

"No, you do, Formy!"

"No, YOU!"

"Thorn-toothed brat!"

"How did you say that? Torn-thooted... thor-thooded... thorn-thootded... what was it again?"

[Roric X]

He looked up at Minuet from the pups for a moment and smiled sheepishly before watching the pups again as the rolled around barking insults at each other. He could remeber playfighting with his brother as he grew up, always losing since Fuswar had a years worth of growth on him. They had come up with a lot of quite creative insults, often involving recent mistakes or activities.

Minuet chuckled to herself as the pups wrestled. Hot tears pricked the back of her eyes as she remembered wrestling like that with her siblings. "Thorn-toothed brat!" She laughed falling to the ground and rolling on her back from laughing so hard. Realizing with embarrassment about how stupid she probably looked she scrambled to her feet and sat down and looked at her paws.

[Alpha Fortis]

Fortis couldn't help but chuckle as the she-wolf scrambled to her feet after bursting out laughing. "Thorn-toothed brat... that does sound pretty funny. Hahah!"

"Thor-thnooded..."

"Hahah, Formy can't say it!" Ferox laughed.

"Groar!" For revenge, Forma bit Ferox's ear. What she got in return was her brother's teeth digging into her tail.
