Escape!, Wolves have been caught by humans!

Tokami flattened her ears as she walked into another room. She might as well look for any other wolves that needed assistance. She caught a faint scent of another group of wolves and found... well, another group of wolves. "Ah, is it too late for any help I can give?" Tokami asked, raising her eyebrow as she stepped into the opening.

Shade looked uncertainly up at the red she-wolf who walked in the room. She smelled of FirePack. "I've got the cage open," he began, stepping down onto the cold tiled floor, "but my friend seems to be a bit...delirious. He's FirePack," he added, in case she needed any extra motives to help Kage.

He looked around. The room held about a dozen cages of differing sizes, but the only one inhabited was the one he and Kage had been in. Walking to the doorway, he edged his head around the doorway and peered into the next room. There were more cages in there, all of them empty. A bunch of wolves were fighting some humans.

He walked restlessly back to the red wolf and Kage. "Uh...d'you think he'd be alright if we left him here? I need to help my packmates."

Shade shifted impatiently from paw to paw, waiting for the red wolf's answer. "I can't wait anymore!" he cried suddenly. "My packmates need me."

With a last look back at Kage, he lunged through the door and into the next room.

Tokami watched the wolf leave. She had just realized that he had been talking to her, but she found herself lost in her thoughts. His sudden announcement yanked her from her thoughts. "Erm... sorry..." She said absentmindedly. She looked at the other wolf behind her. "Uh... er... wazzup?" She said, hesitantly.

"PLEASE!" Firewing howled at the top of her lungs, far past caring whether any humans heard. "Is there anyone there? Please, help me!"

His paws ached and his breath caught painfully in his throat, but Shade kept running, the thunder of his pawsteps rolling off the unnaturally smooth walls. He could hear wolves growling and a high yelping coming from somewhere far off - but closer, a long, loud howl rose and twisted in the metallic air. Shade swerved down a connecting hallway in the direction of the howl, his shoulders heaving with exertion.

"Please!" the howl begged as Shade burst into another room.

The room was small - the tips of his ears almost brushed the ceiling. Only a tail-length away, a wolf was crouched against the bare metal floor, shivering. Shade instantly recognized her as one of his packmates. Tipping his head to one side in confusion, he asked, "Firewing?"

The bright, lurid colors in the dream were fading into darker tones, all gravitating toward an unearthly shade of scarlet. Kage found himself twitching as the grin faded from his unconscious face - the dream was becoming a nightmare.

"Ah!" He jerked awake at the sound of another wolf's voice. He registered immediately that he was not where he was supposed to be - but that could wait. Blinking up blearily at the wolf who had woken him, he said in surprise, "Tokami? What are you doing here?"

Sorry, sorry, sorry it's been so long since I've posted! Things to do....but that's no excuse. Man, no one's posted here since forever. Hopefully I can get things started up again.

OoC: Ahh, I know what you mean fyreshadowes. I'll always be diligant with this, (with the exception of my last post... -.-) and, when someone posts, I'll post too. Simple as that, eh? When you post up a little somethin', expect something from me, a'ight? o_~ (As long as... I know about it somehow... D:)

Tokami made a little shrug. "Oh, well, you know, I just wanted to hang around, see the sights, but I can't help but get the feeling that we should get the hell out of here." She said with a frown at the end. That was a little out-of-character... perhaps a little more cheery than that, Tokami? "Eh. What now?" She said as she stared at a nearby vacant cage.

Mikazuki stared around the room he was in. "What the hell?" Where did Tokami go? She was right here a second ago. Ah, damn. Go follow, you idiot!

Gaw...

He crouched low and ran into the other room. "Tokami-chan, where did-" He found her speaking with another wolf. "Oh, hey, what's up?" He said lifting his left paw in a sort of wave. He smiled a bit. Shadow wolf? Yeah. Shadow wolves were always pretty cool... Except for Terifnerus. He sucked, per se.
