Fuswar versus Alpha Darkclaw, for the title of Alpha of Shadow Pack!

[Fuswar]

Fuswar twitched his ear to get the sting out of it as he lowered himself and brought his tail to curl up outside his hind leg. He pulled back his ears, though the one still twitched slightly, and glared up at the Alpha.

[Wolves Alphess]

Darkclaw lifted his tail high, curling slightly over his back. Satisfaction was the first thing he felt when Fuswar lowered himself, but right after, the more cautious side of him told him that Fuswar could very well be up to something, he may even be preparing to spring.

The alpha wondered what he should do. Should he attack first, or wait for Fuswar to do something? Maybe he could dig his teeth into Fuswar's foreleg, for revenge. The thought excited him, and before he could think things over more deeply, Darkclaw lunged forward, jaws open and aiming to close around Fuswar's foreleg.

[Fuswar]

fianally, Fuswar thought to himself as the Alpha dove at him once again. Instead of sprining forwards, this time he dropped to the ground, every muscle tensed and ready until the Alpha was close enough, then he lunged upwards, aiming his shoulder to the Alphas jaw.

[Wolves Alphess]

Alpha Darkclaw's jaws were wide open, ready to bite down on Fuswar's leg. Instead, Fuswar's shoulder met his chin, shutting his mouth. The sound of his teeth banging into each other rang as Darkclaw wobbled, finding himself feeling dazed, his chin hurting from the impact.

bic : Fuswar took his chance. Now that the Alpha was dazed from the counterattack Fuswar bunched his muscles again and lunged for the Alphas throat. This could be the end of it. With the Alpha dazed he may not bring himself together in time to dodge the attack. If the Alpha had no idea it was coming he could be completly thrown over by the force of the lunge, unprepared to defend himself.

The moment Darkclaw recovered from the counterattack was too late. He saw Fuswar coming and was about to leap aside, putting weight on his right hindleg out of habit. He froze when the pain in that leg increased. It was as he was reacting to the pain that Fuswar hit him.

Darkclaw's snarl was cut short as he felt fangs digging into his neck, this time, deeper than the the wounds he received at the start of the fight, much deeper. 'So, I am not as young or strong as I used to be...' were his last thoughts.

bic:Though he could feel the body go limp, Fuswar jerked his head to snap the Alphas neck, just to be sure. Then he let go and let to body slump right to the ground. He shook over it, panting. Blood from Darkclaw dripped slowly from the end of his muzzle, back into the wound that killed him.

He felt power rush through his body. Simply killing this wolf gave him the power of an Alpha. Satisfaction of gaining that position once more surged through aswell. His whole body trembled as the waves crashed over him.

Only his eyes moved as he looked up at the slight semi circle of wolves he could see from this position. His emerald eyes glared at them, as if they were challanging him for his newfound position, though all he could see we expressions of loss, appreciation, shock, and only the rare occasion of anger.

He stood tall, his tail arched high over his back. His hackles raised as a challange to all the surrounding wolves. His gaze swept over the whole circle onece more before he spoke.

"So what now?"

The first time i killed a character he bled to death .. only to turn out to be a dilusion and he never acually died. I forget what i had wrote for his last thoughts. The second character I killed (who will soon be reincarnated) Had thought "Great, 20 years and life ends like this?" Another I;ve killed was in a zombie roleplay so really he's gonna come back probably.

The latest character I "killed" had screamed at my roleplay partners character "Its all your fault!"

My characters never stay dead lol. I find someway to bring them back.

Imagine if Darkcalw came back? lol From my history I wouldn't be surprised.

Whoop-de-doo for you! Fuswar's now Shadow Pack's Alpha and this forum's antagonist! Yay!

[Twist]

The Battle Ring was probably populated earlier, what with the sounds of combat filtering through the forest. Twist had noted the challenge and had taken the oppurtunity to get a bite to eat while the rest of the pack watch the bloodletting...and..as became apparent when the lean, wiry wolf loped closer towards the gathering...the death of Darkclaw.

He examined the scene through hooded eyes at first and like always, figured that this, too, would turn out to be of some use. Whatever surprise registered on his features, he had time to hide as he slinked slowly towards the centre, making his way through the other wolves who were perhaps making their obeisance obvious towards the new Alpha.

Keeping his head repectfully lowered and his tail likewise just as low, the black, gray-tipped wolf moved with some care towards the centre, wary of any remaining bloodlust. Despite his body language, however, there was something rather predatory in the glint of his bright, amber eyes.

Stopping before this...leader, his lips curl ever so slightly in an approximation of a smirk. "What now, Alpha?" He tilts his head, puppylike.

"That is for you to decide, is it not? All the same, if you will come back to your new home I am sure there will be much to discuss..."

The black wolf paused, perhaps for effect, perhaps to wait for the other wolves to listen carefully. "For years, the four packs of this valley have remained the same. Perhaps, if we have a strong, battle-ready and courageous leader...he will lead us to something new..."

Twist edged closer, his head lowering. "Perhaps, this leader can lead...can find a way to keep all of his Pack satiated...even through the winter months...and yes, that can be done, if we have indeed now have a ..strong.. Alpha."

The smaller wolf looks around him briefly. "Look around, Alpha. Look at all this. This could all be Shadow Pack territory - gone will be the days when we cannot find prey...gone will be the days when he have to think twice about taking what is rightfully ours.."

Twist looks directly at Fuswar. "All this, Alpha, could be yours.."

[Fuswar]

Fuswar examined the pack again as they filtered in from the sidelines to surround him and the old Alpha.

His eye was drawn to one, rather small wolf as he approached. Though the wolf kept his posture respectful, Fuswar couldn't help catch the glint is his eyes. He looked the wolf up and down, he couldn't tear his eyes away. Something about this wolf made Fuswar instinctivly believe he could be great. He couldn't quite lay a claw on it but he knew.

He rose himself higher still as the wolf stopped infront of him. He tipped his head ever so slightly and gave the wolf a questioning look.

His gaze stayed locked on the wolfs eyes as he spoke. Something else stirred within him, not just power and satisfaction ... ambition.

When the wolf finished Fuswar continue to hold his gaze, though he couldn't help see himself as leader of this whole forest. He barely knew the territories and the other packs, but he wanted them. Boundaries wouldn't matter if it was all under one rule. Neither would packs. He would take them on, and those who resisted would die like the scrap of meat that still lay bleeding at his paws.

Finally he brought himself back to the battle ring. He bnet his head to adress the wolf specifically, though still appearing dominant. "Who are you?" He asked, not as a challange but still with a hint of demand and authority in his voice.

[Twist]

"I am called Twist, Alpha." The scrappy wolf, turns to consider the pack. "Your time has come, Alpha Fuswar. Perhaps.." Yes, this wolf did like the word. "..Perhaps it would be wise to adjourn to our lair in order to....celebrate." He tilts. "After all, I am sure you must be hungry after your victory."

He looks down to regard the corpse of Darkclaw, wrinkling his nose. "And of course, we can leave this to the ravens?" He does not turn his back on Fuswar as he moves backwards slowly, out of the clearing...and lifts his muzzle to the sky to begin a howl, declaring the new Alpha, one that Twist is hoping the rest of the pack will catch.

"Alpha, to the east lie the Light Pack, to the south, the Water Pack, and to the south east...the Fire Pack." He looks up at the ravens that have already started lingering in the area. "To...finally...join with them as we should, we must be most wary of the Fire Pack who, despite your strength, are rumoured to be fiery warriors - lesser than you, it is true, but to be reckoned with nonetheless..."

He continues after looking at the other wolves, hoping that none of them would disrupt - and guessing that they would not. "The rise of the Shadow Pack will not come over night, my Alpha, and a plan of the hunt must be made..." He stops in his place, waiting for the Alpha.

[Fuswar]

Twist? And what a twist in todays packs he plans to make. Fuswar thought to himself, almost admiring the wolfs planning.

"Might aswell," He said when the wolf asked about leaving darkclaw to the ravens.

He watched without interfering as the wolf backed up and started a howl that the majority of the pack joined in on. He himself joined in at the last part to give one long and low howl before they broke off and Twist spoke again.

He looked in each directions as Twist gave name to the territories, and his gaze lingered in FirePack direction as Twist spoke of these "rumours". If that was so, either he should take them first to prove to Light and Water pack that SHadow back is the force that should be reckoned with, or take them last to preserve most of their warriors who cower beneath Shadow Packs rising power.

"Then we should go back to the clearing. We'll talk more then." Fuswar said as Twist finally stopped speaking. He flicked his tail in signal that the pack was to get a move on.

She had heard the commotion and the gossip and wanted to see for herself. She walked to the Battle Ring uneasily and saw the dead DarkClaw.

"DarkClaw." she ran over to the dead wolf, scaring away the crows.

"Idiot! How could you die so easily?! You were supposed to fight me! Not woever that was!" she said with tears in her eyes.

Just outside the Battle Ring she dug a grave for DarkClaw and burried him. She placced a stone with the word DarkFang on it. DarkClaw always wanted to be called DarkFang.

"You fought to the end mighty DarkClaw, even though we were enemies, you have my respects." she said then left the Battle Area.
