Talon pressed low to the ground, her ears pricked and her attention focused on the scrawny mouse in front of her. It moved through the leaves, oblivious to her presence as it sought food. She took a slight pawstep forward, sure to level her weight out. She would have her prey, invading or not. The rogues were too caught up in their own worries to care, she knew that for sure. She leapt forward, sinking her claws into...the leaves. The mouse disappeared! Talon let out a hiss of frustration, parting her jaws to look for something else to hunt. Her eyes widened but before she had any chance to react she felt a force pelt into her, sending her doubling head over tail. "Fox dung!" she spat, leaping to her paws, teeth bared.
She glanced around, tail lashing before her eyes rested on a familiar sight. Falcon. She unsheathed her claws, letting out a low growl. "What do you want?" she hissed, waiting for the rogue's reply. Why her sister didn't bother just attacking instead of running head on into her, Talon would never understand.

Falcon pelted out of the camp, every wound exruciatingly more painful with each step. As she crossed the border into her own home, she had hardly scented her sister before plowing into her and knocking her over. Splayed out on the ground, Falcon heaved herself to her paws, fighting for air. Shaking out her pelt, blood spattering the leaves, she glared at her sister. "I wouldn't be so hostile if I were you! You're trespassing on our territory!" She spat, her fur fluffing out.

Talon snorted, sizing up her sister, twitching her whiskers with amusement. "You look like you already have your paws full," she taunted, glancing at the wounds which Falcon bore. "Kittypet chase you out?" she sneered, keeping her fur flat. She wouldn't fight. She'd run, it was easier. She needed to hunt, either way. The scent of Thunderclan reeked on the rogue proving that clancats had obviously chased her away.

"No one chases me from anywhere!" Falcon spat, her lips curling to reveal her teeth. "Maybe if you had some sort of brain you could tell that I chose to leave. There was no point in me making them suffer anymore." She hissed, licking her paw and drawing it over her face. Her eyes softened as she looked over at her sister. She had missed her, despite what she may tell Cloverleaf. Her sister was probably closest to her, even though she hadn't seen her in moons. And Cloverleaf was no bundle of love either. "Why did you leave?" The she-cat blurted out, unable to help herself. She wished that her sister would stay and train just as she had.

Talon pricked her ears, listening to Falcon's excuse. Had she chosen to leave, she might not have looked the way she did. Talon parted her jaws to make a sharp comment but the dangerous glint in Falcon's eyes seemed to die away, making her close her jaws. The question Falcon asked nearly took her by surprise and Talon could easily detect emotion hidden in the question. She sat down, hiding the slight pain she felt in her heart. She was a loner. And most loners accepted that they would never be around any other cat peacefully. Talon had lived as a loner for a good deal of moons but she wasn't any real loner.
For a moment she was silent, studying Falcon, thinking it was better to explain why. "How long can you stand being ordered around and punished because you're the one who doesn't do something right?" Talon asked, twitching her whiskers. It explained more than she would explain without throwing in any nasty curses.

"I do what I want!" Falcon spat, hurt almost by the question. "I am not some kit that follows Cloverleaf's every whim." She growled, her anger trickling back. But it faded quickly. "And I was only punished as a kit. Not now. I'm too valuable for her to do such things." She purred, delighted with herself, but also joking. Maybe if her sister had stayed, maybe if she had trained with her, Falcon could have beaten her brothers. She could have wounded them so terribly, that even in Silver Pelt they would not soon forget their scars.

Talon curled her tail in slight amusement at the explanation. "Too valuable because you're the only rogue that would follow her every order!" she sneered. "Why would you follow her? You're not going to gain anything from it that's as great as leadership or anything. And if you do disobey, you're likely just to recieve some pitiful scar that has no good story to it," Talon explained, hissing at the thought.
"You remember that old fleabag of a rogue that Cloverleaf always helped? I bet if he asked her to kill you, she would," she snarled, digging her claws into the crunchy leaves below. Of anything, she couldn't believe Falcon would enjoy the life of a rogue when all she got in return for doing anything good was just some fake comments. She was just like a clancat! Of anything, she dreamed often of running with her sister, chasing away rogue, loner, and clancat. They could've become better than any flea-bitten rogue, but Falcon proved just how wrong Talon was.

"I'd like to see her try! She would die at my claws." Falcon hissed, her ears pinned to her head. "So if you think you're so smart and know so much about her, why don't you think of a way to order her around." The rogue spat, her patience wearing thin. She flopped down on her side, exhausted and bleeding still. She began lickin the wounds thoroughly, making sure there could be no infection.
Rockpaw slid easily through the forest, his brother with him. His jaws were parted for the scent of Falcon. A trail of blood was laid out before him as he tracked her foul stench. He admired his work, "Looks like she'll be healing for a few moons." He meweed to his brother, trotting along at a steady pace.

Talon snorted, flicking her ear dismissively at the threat. "I would've thought you would have remembered," she growled, curling her tail neatly around her front paws. She could vaguely recall the plans they could conjure when they were younger, even if it was moons ago.
"She won't be able to forget us," Hailpaw sneered, relishing the thought, his ears pricked for the slightest sound. They were near the edge of the border between Thunderclan and the rogues and Hailpaw could've sworn he heard a noise. He glanced at Rockpaw but he seemed to have not heard it. The wound on his shoulder had ceased bleeding and the one on his underside was slowly drying. All they had to do was make sure this rogue never returned. His ears pricked as he heard a voice and he parted his jaws, a new scent arriving. The blood trail still went on though.

Rockpaw stopped short, the new scent making his nostrils flare. It was sweet, yet it had an edge to it and was very familiar. He growled deep in his chest as he parted the ferns with a forepaw. "Looks like the rogue found a friend." He muttered to his brother.
"You could have gotten past that!" Falcon spat in anger. "I would have helped you! But you chose the easy way out. You left!" She snarled, her sides heaving. The she-cat slowly rolled to her paws, embarrased by her weakness. She took a few steps toward her sister. "Stay, please." She murmered quietly, almost begging her sister. If she had to stay here alone, she knew it would destroy her.

Hailpaw narrowed his eyes, slowly creeping forward now, ears pricked. As he picked up movement ahead, he focused on Falcon. She was still alive but weak. Blood still ran from her wounds and her sides were heaving with effort.
"So what? You would prefer me to take the hard way out and get stuck with that piece of fox-dung constantly punishing me for not obeying her?" Talon snarled, lashing her tail in frustration. "You could have left with me! You wouln't have needed to obey her just to avoid getting hurt," she hissed.
She glanced at the gashes and cuts that lined Falcon's flank, a flicker of concern flashing through her eyes as Falcon got to her paws. She was kin, no matter how hard it was to deny. The request though...was hard to accept. "Why would you stay with her? She wouldn't care if you died," Talon asked, trying to persuade her sister that the rogue life hadn't much to offer.
The tom listened to the two, twitching his whiskers in annoyance. A friend? It seemed difficult to accept but the way they acted could prove any cat wrong.

"Just like I wouldn't care if she died." Falcon growled. "If you were to join us she may be skeptical and first, and angry I'm sure. But if you gain her trust..." Falcon was lost for words. There were very few cats who gained her mentor's trust. Silverheart and Saberclaw were the only ones she could think of. "If we can prove ourselves better together, twice as powerful as any cat, think of the respect and esteem we will be held in!" Power glinted in the rogues eyes. Her ears swiveled near the border. A low growl escaped her as she unsheathed her claws, tasting the air for scents of intruders.
Rockpaw flicked his brothers side with his tail. "Should we attack?" He whispered, his eyes on the rogue in front of him. She was staring at them, but could she see them? He unsheathed his claws just in case.

"Respect as a rogue!" Talon hissed, baring her teeth. Talon rose to her paws, shaking herself. "Look at the rogues now! As a loner you can establish your own respect and reputation and if you kill any cat, even if they find the cat, they won't be able to blame it on any particular clan or the rogues and since you all seem to hide away in one place. They can go and blame it on each other but when your a loner you don't have to worry about that," she said, unsheathing her claws and pricking her ears. Falcon wasn't the only one who was aware of them being watched.
Hailpaw glared at the two, watching the rogue and the loner. The conversation was enough to send a slight chill down his spine. He nodded slightly, hopping the she-cat didn't see his head moving. They had to stop the two before it came to a cat or more dying. He slid his claws out of their sheathes, flattening his ears to his head.

"Think of what we could do, Talon!" Falcon hissed, turning too quickly and feeling slightly lightheaded, but she kept her balance. "We could take over every rogue, clanner, and loner! We could rule this forest, you and I! You will take one half and I the other, and we will expand and expand until there is no cat to oppose us! Even into Twoleg territory!" Her fur bristled with her excitement. The rogues had poisoned her mind since she was young, and all Falcon could ever think about was power and bloodshed. "Dear sister, you must see reason!" She spat, unsheathing her claws. Falcon looked around the forest, sensing movement, but unable to pin it down. She sat down, breathing heavily and licking her wounds once more.
Rockpaw slid around to the side of the two cats. His ears pinned to his head, he crept slowly so that he was behind Falcon, ready to pin her to the ground again.

Talon snorted, listening to such a thought, her own heart quickening at such. She would've loved the power, she would soak in such a thing if she could! But - "How could a rogue achieve such status? What more have you to learn! You want power. I want power. But you've already learned enough from those fleabags! Cloverleaf couldn't teach you what you already know," she stated, taking a pawstep towards her sister. Ruling the forest was all any cat could dream of if they had the mind to, it was a matter of accomplishing the act.
Hailpaw made his way silently towards the loner, going around the two in the opposite direction. All they had to do was surprise them and the two would be done for. He creeped up behind the loner, lips drawn back revealing sharp white teeth. She didn't even suspect they were there!
The she-cat's ears were pricked and her jaws were barely parted, not noticeably. "Look at what Cloverleaf has already done to you," she hissed to Falcon. "She doesn't make sure you are alright, Had you been a loner you wouldn't have to follow her or any other loner around like a lost kit," Talon explained, pausing, the tip of her tail twitching. "Had you been with me though," she continued, drawing her lips back in the beginnings of a snarl. "You would be protected," and with that, she leapt over her sister, claws outstretched as she took Rockpaw by near surprise, her teeth bared.
