"And this...is the weyrbowl." H'dar said with a small smile toward the brownrider, but once again he felt a blush stretch across his cheeks and nose. Jaslynn was just so...
A sudden bulge startled him into looking up as his very own green Enerith broke up over the lip of the Dragon's Ledge and descended with startling speed to the herdsbeast corral, landing on a young buck before it even had the chance to bleat in alarm. H'dar was stunned, an odd feeling sweeping into him. Enerith...she...she was...!
Somewhere in his mind, he managed to realize that he needed to stop Enerith from blooding more than one buck. Her eyes swirled red in anger when she was denied another kill, but lowered her head to gorge. But H'dar controlled her, making it so that she only sucked the poor beast dry. Hissing in anger and the need to fly, Enerith sprang up with a swiftness that startled him! As Enerith yelled her challenge to the male dragons, that's when her and H'dar's minds seemed to officially mold together. He could see through her eyes, feeling the passion and the need to fly...
Neila couldn't help but giggle over at the sight of K'ay sprawled out on the small couch that sat in the corner of the kitchen, tugging off her apron as she walked over to K'ay. She smiled tenderly as she pressed a nice mug of klah into his hands.
"That bad, huh? Too bad I wasn't able to see--"
A sudden chorus of dragon roars made her snap her view out to the opening that led to the weyrbowl...where she had the slightest view of a green dragon suddenly darting up into the sky. Wait, she rising...Juith! The alarm coursed through her body, but there was no stopping it--the blue sprang from his perch on the Dragon's Ledge, answering the green's challenge with an impressive roar of his own.
The need and passion struck Neila so hard that she stumbled, her eyes fading from alarm to a far-off looked that signified that she was flying with Juith...that green was fast, but they could catch her!

Jaslynn was very much enjoying the tour around the Weyr. Everything was so sudden, but she was glad that H'dar was guiding her around. He had saved her from another year of torment in Ista and she was eternally grateful. She even got to see one of her old friends!
Then they stopped. "H'dar?" she asked quietly, watching him and Enerith as the green flew over the ridge. She couldn't see the green eating the herdsbeast, but when she heard the green's cry and the look on H'dar's face, she guessed.
Craith guessed it as well. Even as a newcomer to the Weyr, it was a siren call that he would answer. Jaslynn paled as the brown spread his wings. "N-no, no, no, Craith, no!" she cried, her face turning bright red. It couldn't be! Not so soon! But it was too late. Craith was already in the air. He knew that, deep in Jazz's heart, although she would never admit it, she already liked H'dar. It was love at first sight. And so, he refused to come down for Jazz's sake. after all, the dragon decides, the rider complies.
Craith gave chase.
"I...hurt...everywhere," K'ay groaned, draped over the couch in the kitchens like a rag doll. "I hurt in places I didn't even know I could hurt." He had just finished the marathon and, before he was forced to work, he was going to relax as much as he could. He, like he said, hurt everywhere.
Carefully and gratefully, he took the klah. He brought it to his lips, ready to take what was, surprisingly, the first swallow of klah he had ever been able to take.
Or would have, if Enerith hadn't risen at that exact moment.
A roar came mingled with the others, a roar that K'ay instantly recognized as being Locreth's. It couldn't be...Locreth had never shown a romantic interest in other dragons, and he randomly decided to take action now?! He, too, rose to take part in Enerith's flight.
K'ay really wasn't sure what to make of the situation. He would never get to drink that klah, however. Before he could take so much as a sip, a large man barreled into the kitchens, grabbed both riders by the collars, and unceremoniously tossed them both into an empty storage closet.
It was B'rian. He swiftly shut the door behind him and leaned against it, giving all of the dumbfounded kitchen workers a goofy grin. Several of them passed marks behind their backs as B'rian strode away, whistling as he walked.

Enerith took a glance back, as if assessing who was pursuing her. A brown, blue and translucent...all of whom seemed able enough to outfly her...no, only one of them would. Well, she was going to give them quite the fly! She pumped her wings, putting on a burst of impressive speed. She zipped to and fro, and at one point blue Juith tried diving down at her. But she twisted gracefully away, roaring with a kind of laughter. So puny, these males!
Juith huffed, and actually yawned as he felt the front of his desire leave as he suddenly grew tired. He had not flown so fast, high or long without a good nap somewhere along the road. Yes--he had gotten pretty lazy ever since arriving in the south. The blue fell behind, just drifting and following the other three for the heck of it.

Locreth, despite being the smallest male dragon in the chase, wasn't going to give up as easily as Juith, even if he didn't have interest in Enerith. Everything he did was for K'ay, whether the dragonrider liked it or not. He swooped in, keeping up well, but purposely not getting close enough to Enerith.
Craith, on the other hand, was bigger, faster, and he was in this chase to win. He chased after Enerith, copying nearly every move precisely when it was advantageous, and cutting her off when he could. Green dragons high on hormones and fresh blood were dang hard to catch! The brown had a new sense of appreciation for the green, particularly this one. He knew it was only a matter of time though. He waited, just copying Enerith's movements until he saw the perfect opportunity. He took it. He beat his wings harder, just a little, to give him the speed needed to overtake the green and catch her.

Enerith was enjoying herself, her eyes swirling in the slight control she had over the males. She could make them turn left, make them dart to the lef--Craith!
Something similar to a startled squeak was her reaction to the suddenness of the brown being there, matching her wing stroke for wing stroke. The pretty green hissed back at him, trying to make a sudden move that would unsettle him. But it would seem he had her patterns in mind...
Lorith watched with a rather glum expression as the flight ended up flying over the weyr again before heading out to the forest. Good, she didn't want them to do that in her sight. In her weyr!
"Calm down, beauty. You are grumpier than usual...Hey there, Juith!" The weyrwoman called up to the Dragon's Ledge, having currently occupied one of the empty top weyrs. The blue had finally and slowly spiraled down, taking perch in his usual spot on the ledge. As the weyrwoman addressed him, he hung his head down as far as he could to stare down at the petite woman. "Kind of lazy, huh? Maybe we should have a dragon marathon next time!" Juith blinked a set of eyelids and huffed, withdrawing his head.
Chuckling, Chloe glanced down and blinked. ....Oh. There was H'dar and Jazz! She knew a flight had been going on, but hadn't know which dragons they were or..."Oh bother, can't have them displaying their....'affection'...in public now, can we Lorith?" She said as she hurried past the great golden lump, letting her hand rail down the length of the beast's belly. The weyrwoman suddenly paused, and retraced her steps to use both hands to feel around Lorith's stomach.
Where those...but how...
"We'll talk about this later, missy." Chloe promised with a stern point to Lorith's snout, who in turn snorted as the the woman hurried on her way. When she finally made it out, she was able to gently navigate the two flight-bound riders into the weyr, where she was quick to gentle push them into an empty room and shut the door. With a grin she hurried to get back to Lorith, wondering if the dragon had just eaten, or...
