~The Story~

Three turns ago, a weyr called Blue Cove west of High Reaches Weyr was decimated by a human affecting disease that came to be known as Cove fever. Dragons fell as their riders did, disappearing between. When their last queen turned violent as her bonded died during her mating flight and suicided to the dark between, the call came for the Weyr to be abandoned by the dragonmen.

The first blizzard of winter rose that day as the dragons mourned their queen among the snow. Along with the storm, however, rose something else.

A green by the name of Marith lept into the sky, trumpeting challenge to the males who would try to fly her admist the sorrow. And some answered, as always, and the green who looked all the world like a tiny emerald queen against the snow was caught by a bronze.

Suprising all who remained packing belongs and arranging to be housed in other weyrs, Marith layed seven porcelin eggs on the cooling sands of Blue Cove and the search went out in desparation, to find those who would be bonded to this miracoulous seven. The day of hatching eventually came and suprise stole over nearby Pern with tales of what came from those eggs. A green, two blues, a brown, a tiny bronze, and, By Faranth, a small, weak gold!

It was unheard of. It wasn't supposed to be possible. Some said it was the cold. Others declared it a fluke, or a product of the bronze who flew the green Marith. Still others said it was because of the desparation of the weyr, their lack of queens, and this was closest to the truth.

Now, Twin Falls weyr has been established by those seven and Zephryth, the queen born of a green, prepares to fly to mate and with the prospect of her clutch comes hope.

Will Twin Falls prosper and furfil the dying wish of the weyr that gave them their queen? Only time will tell.

It has come to my attention that the link does not properly work, so here is the correct one:
http://z15.invisionfree.com/Twin_Falls_Wey...dex.php?act=idx

We will be having two Hatchings very soon, one a Dragon and one a Wher, candidates are needed for both. We are also accepting one or two more bronzeriders, so here is your chance to get one. Finally, we are also looking for Mods, so please apply inside if you are interested. Thank you!

TWIN FALLS WEYR
version 2.0 !? new site !?

Gold, Green, Brown, Bronze & Blue,
High Reaches dragons will always fly true!

Twin Falls Weyr is a noncanon D.R.o.P. roleplay meant
to give you more out of your roleplaying experience.

Our plots are unique and dark which is why we're rated R !

SO WHAT'S GOING DOWN?

Four turns have passed since the founding of Twin Falls,
and so much has happened. The disease which destroyed
the former Blue Cove Weyr still ravages the populace, taking
many lives along the way and twisting the shapes of the dragons
into hated mutant creatures. A man named Jarak, founder
of the Wingclipper craft, gave Twin Falls a temporary cure for
the sexually transmitted virus: to clip the wings of dragons,
hobble the sickened whers, and stone the tainted firelizards.

Many people rebelled, and the Weyr was split in two, half fleeing
to the remnants of the destroyed Blue Cove, trying to build a new
home for themselves by the name of Skybound Weyr, but High
Reaches Weyr starved out the rebels that dared let the diseased
persist, making the rebels stretch their resources for a turn until
they at least became one with Twin Falls again, their silver queen
taking claim as Sn. Gold in place of the former Weyrwoman's clipped
queen. Now with an obviously diseased male Weyrwoman (a title
to laugh at to be sure), Twin Falls is barely holding on. Many have
died, many more are on their way to the land between. Even
the Master Clipper Jarak has succumbed to death. No one is safe.

Yet a strange man has just arrived at the Weyr offering a vaccine.
Can Twin Falls trust another man who claims to have a cure or
are the weyrfolk and their dragons doomed before they even try?
