I wasn't sure if this should go in the manga section or the literature section, but I put it here since there seems to be more Karin-related topics in this section.

Has anyone read these? The Karin novels are all side-stories that follow the manga storyline and also have some mystery elements in there (to make it more interesting).

Some of the things that happen in them are more extreme that anything that happens in the manga.

I'll give a briefing for volumes 1-3 for that (volume 4 should be out next week).
If you are interested in the novels but haven't read them, everything below will contain some ****Spoilers***.




First Volume:

-Karin gets kidnapped and almost raped (she also risked getting killed after that)
-A few girls from Karin's school were kidnapped and molested
-Kenta almost gets his arms broken + almost shot
-Karin is accused of being a slut and gets her clothes torn off by girls who hate her
-Karin thinks Kenta is a stalker XD (okay, just put that because it was funny)

Second Volume:

-Karin almost gets kidnapped by a perverted man (again, lol)
-Karin and Kenta both almost get shot
-Karin gets tied up and almost burns to death in a run-down hospital

Third Volume:

-Kenta and Karin both were almost poisoned to death
-One girl gets poisoned by laundry detergent in her food (no death though)
-This volume had the most fanservice ever + that one girl thought Kenta was gay XD

yes i always wanted to know about them the 4 one is coming out this month(USA) i plan to buy them (along with the next voulme) next month


And damn does she always get kidnapped I guess it's a curse having big tits
and did girl think he was guy lol i got to buy this.

Speaking of that, in Volume 3 that Kira girl says the funniest thing ever about Karin's chest:

"I grabbed her tits. Big deal. Look at them-they're huge! I couldn't help it. What are they, a quadruple-Z cup or something? Jesus!"

Then Karin thinks to herself, "Why does everyone care so much about boobs?"

I laughed out loud during class (was reading it for silent reading) and almost got in trouble after reading that. XD

I have to thank whoever translated this novel, because are so many hilarious quotes in there! I'll post another funny one from Volume 3 (regarding that girl thinking Kenta was gay):

"But Shouko, they're both boys!" - that Kira girl

"Oh, come on! It's forbidden love, blossoming in the romantic isolation of a stormy island! A taboo passion that can speak its name only in deepest secret! It's like soy and sauce, knives and forks! The desk is the bottom, the chair is the top! Everything is gay!"

I love those Novels. The person who wrote them is awesome. I only got up to the 3rd volume, and the 4th volume just came our for me

I got them from Barnes and Noble.

You can get them on Amazon too (they take about a week to come in the mail). Just search for "chibi vampire novel".

They're usually around 200 pages long, so it takes about a day to finish if you constantly read it for a whole day.

Although it usually takes me about 3 days to finish one because I only get through about 50-60 pages in a day (I don't like reading that much at a time).

thanks so u order from barnes and noble or just picked them up becuse I got my manga from amazon.

I'm a fast reader, so it takes me around 2 hours, BUT thats only because the series is so engrossing.

I go to the Barnes and Noble store near the mall and get them when they come out (the first volume I got on Amazon because I couldn't find it though).

If they don't have them, you can probably request them to get it, but it's just easier to order it off of Amazon and wait for it to come in.

I wish I could read that fast (just so I could get more books read). Then again, I like taking my time to enjoy reading it. I also agree that the series is really engrossing and I would probably prefer reading those novels to most books even if they aren't complex or anything (just because they're fun little things to read).

yeah I should do that and it would give me something to read while I wait for the volumes.

Well, I have all the currently translated ones so I wouldn't mind but... well let me just say that it takes a loooong time to scan 200+ pages (I scan some of my manga for wallpaper, avatars, ect. and that takes awhile by itself).

An easier thing to do would be to type everything out (I'm a fast typer, so that will take a lot less time) and just send some text file to you or something.

Although I can still scan the pictures in there if you want. Volume 3 has Karin in a swimsuit. :3

Yeah, there are about 5-7 pics per novel.

I'll scan them right now (I'll start with my favorite from Volume 3 XD) and post some in a second...

if you whould type/scan them i whould love you for it ive really been wanting to read the novels but if i ordered them it whould cost a small fortune to ship them to where i live....

Can u scan the pics i need sum new karin pics. I'll save the text for when I buy it.
