Light filtered through the hospital window and illuminated the clean, long white room where 6 beds were neatly lined up against the wall. Sai, hair tossed loosely over her pillow, forced her eyes apart and glared blankly up at the ceiling. A sickness had been running around Konoho lately, passed from ninja to ninja as they went through their daily routines which usually involved quite alot of physical contact. Sai had caught it from one of her training partners and hadn't really known about it until one day she had collapsed in the middle of a training session.

'How annoying...' she thought dully, fighting to move her weighted muscles to push herself up into a sitting position. Their was not a soul other than herself in the room. The silence was comforting, but slightly disturbing.

She reached up and brushed her fingertips across her throat. She needed water.

'The door shouldn't be locked or anything...' she hoped as the covers were gently pushed aside and she uneasily hopped down onto the icy cold floor, wrinkling her forehead slightly. Maybe they had a fountain or something down the hall somewhere. Silently she slipped across the room like a wraith, finding herself proud that she'd managed to keep her balance, and pulled open the sliding door.

The halls were just like the rooms. Cold, sterile and white. Occasionally a healer or a nurse would bustle from one room to the next, a smear of blood marking the pristine white that otherwise blinded her as she shuffled down the hallway, slightly uncomfortable in the hospital clothing they had provided her. Somewhere in the back of her mind she wondered how long it had been since she had been checked in, or maybe if this was just a feverish dream of hers and her father would suddenly appear, concerned frown on his features.

'Water...water....'

[Sayn]

The hospital had a depressed feel to it as he lazily waltzed down the hallways. A visit may enlighten some, but its only to pass the time for him. Swinging the noodles he'd brought, he wondered if she'd like them.. He'd heard that hospital food wasnt very filling, nor was it as good as it sounded, and so he'd brought something. More for himself, than her. Two for one deal. Food may be necessary, but it tasted better when you laid off it for a while.

Noting the ward she was in, he left the clerk to wander down the corridors, winding his way towards a ward that was located at the far end. Turning the last corner, he saw her, making her way deliriously around the hall. 'She shouldn't be up...'

"Sai. Stop." Stepping in front of her, "Sleep", he stood watching as her eyes tried frantically to slide away from his. As she fell into a doze, he caught her right before she hit the floor. "Hmm.." Carrying her to her room, he laid her down on the recently disturbed bed. Splashing some water on her face, he tried to wake her.

[Koroshite]

Saya found herself forcing her eyes apart once again, this time there was another person in the room. She glared up a the ceiling blurrily and turned her head to look at Reyn. They'd both been put in the same genin team recently, and before that they'd usually been on pretty friendly terms in the academy. He didn't have to force her to sleep though.

"I could swear...i was awake just a few seconds ago." she murmured, sitting up and rubbing her head. "Hello Reyn. Are you injured? What brings you to the hospital?" she managed to ask politely.

[Sayn]

"No, nothing like that." Pulling out her share of still-warm ramen noodles. "Here. I heard a few things about Hospital life, and they didn't sound friendly. I'm a visitor, by the way." Pulling the stool from the wall to the bedside, he sat beside her. "Yes. You were awake a few minutes ago. I calmed you, you shouldn't have been moving in that condition. Sorry if it was rude of me, but it was the simplest way." Opening his noodles, he began to consume one of his rare meals a day.

[Kazumori]

Kazu entered the hospital room cautiously. He pulled his forehead protector down around his mouth as a makeshift medical mask and walked over to the two kids across the room.
"Hey, you're some of the new Genin, aren't you?" He said in a plesant tone. "I'm Kazumori, and I'm investigating this sickness that's been going around. Do either of you have any information?"

[Naota]

Naota was in a nice mood and had picked flowers for his sick teammate. They were the prettiest ones he could find and he held them in a bouquet. He went to the ward she was in and saw her in the hall, talking to two people. When he got closer he saw who it was.

"Its you again!" He yelled pointing at Kazu. "I thought I was done with you!" He said and then realized he had flowers. "Oh yeah! Saya I picked these for you as a get well soon present!" He said and approached her, holding out the flowers. "Nice things help people get better." He said, "And since your on my team now I thought I should give you something nice." He told her smiling.

[Koroshite]

Saya blinked as two more people appeared in the room. One was her other teammate, Naota, and the other was someone she wasn't sure she had met before...

"T-thankyou very much, Reyn, Naota" she smiled, accepting the flowers and the steaming pot of ramen from her teammates. Too be honest she really didn't expect anyone to be here, concerned over her health. Perhaps she had misjudged her two new team mates at their first meeting...they really did seem to have hearts after all.

Saya turned her attention to Kazumori. "Nice to meet you. Yes, i am sick with that illness at the moment. I'm not sure what brought it on but i was doing alot of hand-to-hand combat...so maybe that's how it's spread? I'm sorry i really don't know what i can tell you..."

[Kazumori]

"Hand-to-hand combat.... Yes. That makes sense." Kazu mumbled to himself, "A bacterium trasfered through physical interaction... possibly in the sweat." he rambled on in this manner for a few minutes, going over the information and formulating the next step in his investigation. "Alright, thank you for your help." Kazu smiled and extended his hand to shake, but then thought better of it. "Eh he he... You know, got to watch my own health." he said and strode out of the room.

[Kanura]

"Uhh" sighed, Kanura as he walked into the room from a trip to lunch. Kanura sat back down on his bed and looked over at the 3 people standing over there. "Hi, my name's Kanura. Who are you guys?"

[Koroshite]

More people? "Ano...Hello, my name is Saya" she replied, bowing politely "These are my teammates Reyn and Naota."

[Kanura]

"Hmm... so why are you in here?" Said Kanura with no excitment. Kanura gasped as he saw the steaming bowl of noodles. "O boy, ramen. Your lucky to have that food, I only get bread." He said sniffling."After my parents died no ones helped me or been to nice to me.. May I have some of your ramen?"

[Koroshite]

Say blinked and looked down at her steaming pot of ramen. So hungry....she meekly held out the bowl to him. "Though you may not want too...i've already eaten out of it and i'm sick...i wouldn't want yout to catch it"

[Kanura]

Kanura looked at her with sadness. "Hmm.." He grunted as he walked back to his bed. "You can take it, you seem more hungry then I am." Kanura had already eaten but he was still vaguely hungry. "So are you just sick or do have that disease that other Chuunin was talking about?"
