Aimee walked with Elliot, looking in every direction as they headed to the pools. She was determined to know her way around, otherwise she would get lost. At the last casino she worked at, she still got lost after working there for over a year.
Elliot asked the rather polite and expected "Where are you from" question, and Aimee smiled in return. "Originally I'm from Des Moines Iowa, but I have lived in Vegas for a while now." She explained as they entered the pool area.
It was quite nice, with water slides and a deck to tan on. Aimee was glad to see not too many people were currently there, which made it still slightly private for the two of them.
She desperately hoped the few people would leave. She wanted to just throw her clothes off and jump into the pool. It looked refreshing... and also she wanted to show Elliot a good time. To keep him interested of course. She didn't have a bathing suit on her, so the only thing she could do was strip!
"I wish I had brought a bathing suit, the water looks so nice, and it is a bit hot in here." She said into his ear, her voice low, low enough so the breath of her whisper hit his neck.

"I don't even think I own a bathing suit," he said half to himself and half to her. "Suits and ties, that's me." He offered her a genuine, but still cute grin. He looked over the pool area and frowned when he didn't see that many people were enjoying the pool, which meant that there weren't many people in the hotel... well usually that's what it meant.
It was ok, though. The slow season always did that to Vegas. "So then, Aimee," he started. He hadn't really talked to a woman in a non-professional setting... save his security head, in some time, but one thing was sure, this women before him was very attractive. "How do you find our pool?" He grinned again; he was completely dripping with good intentions and a goofy sweetness.

Elliot thought about it for a moment and looked around. It was getting hotter and hotter by the moment and people were starting to leave the pool area to go enjoy the cool air conditioning supplied by the casino floors; which was great for him because that meant more gambling.
It was easy for her. She was wearing shorts underneath a skirt, and shoes that could easily be slipped on and off. He, on the other hand, was wearing slacks, dress socks, and tied leather shoes. Oh, well, his dry cleaner would probably kill him for this, but he had a change of clothes in his office if it was necessary to change.
Elliot untied his shoes, and slipped them off, placing them far away from the water's edge then did the same wit his socks. He rolled up his pant legs then found a clean and dry towel to set down on the ground so he wouldn't get his pants wet. "Happy?" he asked with a smile.
Aimee was a beautiful young woman, and to be quite honest, the first to actually catch his attention for more than 10 seconds. Yes, he met lovely girls all the time, but usually they weren't more than a fleeting glance and a quick, "Ello, how are you today? Fine? How's the gambling going? Good? Fantastic," and then he would just walk away. He was a bit giddy at the fact that he was spending time with a woman of legal age, because Casey, just didn't count; that wasn't Frankie.
"You said you didn't stay anywhere that long; why's that?" He wasn't being curious because he was worried, oh no. Vegas was just that way and it was sort of expected that people came and went as they pleased; he was just plain old curious. Other than his big move from England to Vegas he hadn't ever been one to switch up his life. Maybe that was why he didn't a have a relationship; he was just too boring...

Elliot smile at the fact that he was holding a real conversation with the woman. He looked up into the sky. "Mmm, dreams..." He thought back to his childhood and shook his head. "Nope, not sure I really had any dreams before," he came to the conclusion.
It wasn't said, the fact that he hadn't had any dreams. Everything he had ever done was just because he could; it wasn't that he did much planning, because after his mum had died everything had just sort of fallen into place.
"I just took whatever I could get and ended up here," he smiled, his accent quite thick and cockney-ish. "My dad taught me how to play card when I was 11, I was always rather clever, and I could count cards proficiently by the time I was 13." He looked over the water and noticed that there wasn't a single person in the pool area anymore. "Moved to Vegas and became a dealer, then a pit boss, then a manager. Like I said, I'm clever... and it's good pay; why wouldn't I want to be a casino manager..." He smiled. He knew he was smart. Heck he could do pretty much any arithmetic in his head on the spot.
"You got dreams?"

Aimee wished she could be as clever as Elliot. The man used one skill and it got him to the top. Of course he must have been a bit humble with what he was telling her. He must have worked hard to get to where he was today.
"Dreams? I suppose I still do. I used to, but I grew older those dreams became unrealistic." Aimee stared at her reflection. She saw a younger version of herself, dancing as if the world was at her fingertips. She looked up and smiled slightly at Elliot, wondering why she was going to tell him what she was about to tell him.
"After high school, I wanted to go to a dance academy. I applied for a lot of scholarships, grants, loans and so on. But I didn't receive enough money, and I couldn't go. After that I lost a lot of hope... since then I sometimes forget what I really want. I want to dance ballet. I want to dance in a Broadway show. I just want to dance, I guess." She said, with a light laugh. "Being a show girl is the closest thing..."
She then noticed the pool was empty. "OH! There's no one else here." She pointed out, jumping up to her feet. "You want to jump in?" She asked excitedly, looking as if she was about to pull her shirt off.
