Frankie had been a bit stressed recently with the whole sudden arrival of her niece and having to deal with that whole situation, as well as the fact that some idiot actually took a swing at Elliot that afternoon. Typically she didn't go out looking for company so often in one week, considering she had done so only a few days ago, and more often than not she tried to avoid doing so at the Calypso. However, Club Royale is exactly where she was heading at the moment.

She entered the club and looked around a little bit to see if anyone jumped out at her right away. Her long brown hair fell around her shoulders in waves at the moment. She definitely looked a little bit different than she had only hours earlier too since the pant suit had been replaced with a sexy black skirt and a silky halter top that had a very low back and was a silvery blue shade. She still looked classy which was very normal for her, but definitely not quite as business-like.

She didn't see anyone that caught her attention right away so she headed over to the bar for a drink. She smiled at the bartender and ordered a Guinness when he finally came over to her and within seconds he had handed her the drink with a bit of a flirtatious smile. Granted, she was out and looking for some company, but the last thing she wanted to do was flirt with someone who worked at the same hotel as she did.

Orlando had just arrived at the hotel, and he was already ready for a drink. He had gotten the key to his room, checked it out, and was already bored of the it, except the mini bar of course. After a few minis bottles of rum, he knew he was ready to hit the clubs. Sure he could drink himself into a stupor in his room, but could he hook up with hot chicks here all by himself? No.

He quickly changed out of his travelling clothes into a pair of dark blue jeans, a white button up shirt and a black jacket. He brushed his long hair, letting part of it fall over his eyes. After slipping on a pair of nice black shoes, he headed out to Club Royale.

He walked into the club, and immediately headed to the bar. He would scope out the ladies in due time, right now a rum and coke was what he needed.

"Rum and Coke." He told the bartender. As the bartender began to make his drink, he let his eyes survey the area. There was some potential so far. He turned back as the bartender handed him his drink. He took a few good sips, and put the drink down on the bar.

At that moment his eyes fell on a very attractive older woman that was standing close to him at the bar. He didn't stare, but he did let her know he was looking at her by giving her a casual smile. He knew he was quite handsome and charming, and it wasn't really too hard for him to get a lady to accompany him.

He decided to move closer to her, leaning on the bar next to her, drink in hand. "Hey there." He said, then took a sip of his drink. "You in Vegas for business or pleasure?" He asked with a bit of a boyish smile and a small laugh. Sure, his smile was quite boyish and charming, but his voice, which was rather deep and husky, showed that he was in fact, man.

Frankie had been scanning the room again when she noticed a young man not too far away smile at her. He was young... she could tell that off the bat. Maybe close to her niece's age which was a bit young for her typically. She probably wouldn't have given him a second thought either if he hadn't moved closer and started talking to her. At least it showed that he wasn't intimidated by an older woman.

He had boyish good looks which wasn't usually what she went for really, but she wasn't in a picky mood at the moment. Besides, his voice sort of contrasted his looks and well it was kind of sexy. If his voice had matched his looks though she probably wouldn't have given him a second glance so that was a very good thing for him.

"Hello," she replied with a hint of a smile. "A bit of both really." It was true as well. She was in town for business considering she worked there and she was at the club that night for pleasure, though she fully expected to get crap from Elliot the next day if she were to be hungover again. She always hid that stuff really well and it didn't affect her job too much, though he always seemed to know.

"How about yourself?" she asked curiously. She hadn't seen him around the hotel yet, but that didn't really mean anything. He could be visiting from another one, just checked in, or even just be a local that was checking out a new club for all that she knew. Perhaps if she actually had the time to follow things like baseball she would have recognized him, but she didn't pay too much attention to sports at all. That wasn't because she didn't like them, she just didn't really have the time to follow them.

Orlando smiled to himself. He was so in. Obviously she didn't recognize him, which was all right with him. She was a woman afterall. He had noticed some men in the club look at him and whisper, trying to figure out if he was the Orlando Philips.

He pushed his egotistical thoughts out of his head and turned his attention back to the older beauty. "Pleasure, of course. That's what I'm all about." He grinned, finishing his drink. "Needed to escape, and hey Vegas is the place to do it right?"

He had left his sling back in the room, and at that moment his shoulder sent a jolt of pain through his arm. He winced slightly, but tried to hide it up by looking away, as if trying to get the bartenders attention.

"Can I get you another drink Ms....?" He left it open for her to answer. Hopefully she wasn't a Mrs, not that it would stop him from flirting with her. He got the bartenders attention and ordered his rum and coke, and looked at Frankie for her drink order.

"That is what I have heard," Frankie said with a little bit of a smile. That is why most people came to this city afterall. Granted she was the weird one that came for school originally and ended up staying but most came here for the glitz and glamour and the fact that people could do anything here that they couldn't necessarily do back home.

She raised an eyebrow ever so slightly when she noticed him wince, though he did a very good job of trying to hide it. It was her job to notice every little thing though and she usually couldn't turn that off. She considered asking him about it but she figured that if he wanted to talk about it then he wouldn't have worked so hard to hide it.

"Thompson," she replied when he asked her name without actually asking. "Frankie will do just fine though and a Guinness would be great." She was still a little bit torn between whether or not he would be the one to keep her company that night, but that was mainly due to the fact that he was obviously so young. She would give him a chance though... Besides, he had been the most intriguing person she had seen so far.

"Pleasure to make your acquatiance Frankie." Orlando said in his smooth manner. He was rather good at playing the part of a gentleman, though it was quite obvious he was a bit of a player. She hadn't asked his name yet, so he didn't reveal it. He hated the name Orlando, and since this woman seemed to have a manlier name than he did, he would feel quite embarrassed.

If she did ask, he would say it was Philip, and be done with it. Right now, he left it a mystery. He made sure the bartender had gotten her drink order as well, and noticed the look the man gave him as he brought their drinks. Perhaps this guy had hoped to get a little action from Frankie.

Ha, too bad for him. Orlando made everything a competition, even if it was unspoken. He gave the bartender a cocky grin, and handed Frankie her beer. He used his good arm to take ahold of his drink and sip. As he did, he let his mixed blue eyes scan her, without being too obvious.

"Are you staying at the Calypso hotel as well?" He figured it would keep the conversation going, and he could find out where she was staying. All a part of his master plan.

Frankie was definitely thankful that he hadn't asked what her name was short for. She hated it when people did that for some reason though it probably had more to do with the fact that she just didn't like her first name than then fact that they were actually asking. "So do you have a name or should I just keep referring to you as you?"

She smiled a little bit as she watched the exchange between Orlando and the bartender though the smile was mainly due to the young man's obvious cockiness. It was definitely apparent that he thought he had already decided how this was going to end, though he was probably right at this point unless someone more interesting came along.

Of course, when he mentioned that he was staying at the Calypso she tensed slightly. There was a chance that he might not have noticed it, but anyone who knew her definitely would have. She had always made a point of not hooking up with people who stayed in the hotels that she worked at just because it would be very awkward to run into them when she was working.

All they were doing at the moment was talking though so she didn't see the harm in it. Besides, she knew deep down that if she got enough alcohol in her that she probably wouldn't even care at this point. She needed to relieve some of the stress she had been dealing with recently and well, this was sort of how she did it. "Sort of... I live in one of the residential suites here."

Orlando chuckled a bit when she asked him what she should call him. He took a gulp of his drink and set it down on the bar. "You can call me Philip. Though, not Phil." He added. He figured it he added that part it would sound more believable. He underestimated her powerful deductive skills, since he knew nothing about her.

He was slightly intrigued that she lived at the hotel, rather than just staying there. He decided to ask her about that, since they were on the topic already.

"Residential suite? So you live at the hotel then?" He didnt want to assume anything. Well at least now he knew she would be around the same places he would be. Which he didn't mind at all. He finally decided to take a seat next to her as he finished his second drink.

His weakness for rum and coke was always his downfall, though he was now having trouble getting the bartender to come over so he could buy another...

"Well its nice to meet you Philip," Frankie replied once he did tell her his name. Perhaps if she were still completely sober she would have thought more about why he had stressed not to call him Phil, but at the moment it sounded like a perfectly reasonable thing to say so she didn't give it too much thought at all.

"Yes I do. Have for about six months now though before that I was at the Bellagio." She took another sip of her beer mainly to keep herself from saying anything else since she never really liked to talk too much about herself in situations like this since more often than not she had no intention of seeing the person again. The alcohol was affecting her a little bit quicker than usual which of course made her wonder if perhaps she hadn't eaten enough that day.

She noticed that he was trying to flag down the bartender again who seemed to be doing his best to ignore Orlando at the moment which just made her laugh a little bit. "Well since the bartender seems to be occupied at the moment, how about you dance with me?" Dancing would serve two purposes for her really. It would keep her from talking about herself too much and also help her figure out if he was even worth the trouble.

Orlando let the topic of the hotel go after her last comment. He figured she wouldn't want to be talking about work while she was out on the town. He was curious as to what her job was, but he'd ask another time.

He grinned when she asked him to dance, his dancing always impressed the ladies. Though he did want another drink in him before he went on the dance floor, he didn't have a chance in hell with this bartender.

"I suppose I can do that. Though dancing with you will mean the bartender will never wait on me again." He made sure to say that a bit loudly so the guy could hear. He took ahold of Frankie's hand, using his other one to slap the money he owed the guy down on the counter, with a tip. Usually he'd give the guy a 20 spot, but instead, he gave him 5 dollars. Which was more than he deserved in Orlando's mind.

As they walked out to the dance floor, Orlando was pleased to hear more of a hip hop beat playing. Being a rap/hip hop fan, and his knowledge of dance had always blended together. He was definitely a white boy who could dance. He let go of her hand and pulled off one of his dance moves, spinning, and grabbing her by the waist. Then he started to dance with her, since the song was slow at the moment.

"That move was more just to show off." He chuckled, winking down at her. She seemed like the type of woman who would appreciate that honesty as a joke.

Frankie couldn't help but laugh a little bit when he mentioned that the bartender would never wait on him again after dancing with her. She could definitely see that as being the case that night considering the look on the bartender's face at the moment, though she could almost guarantee that he would forget all about it once he found someone else to prey on for the night.

She allowed him to lead her to the dance floor with him, not really caring what kind of music was playing since she really only care about how he moved at the moment. She typically didn't care about how a guy danced, but she still needed a little convincing that this wouldn't be a waste of her time and in her experience, a good dancer was usually even better in bed.

It was almost as if he had been reading her mind, which of course she knew was impossible, but as soon as they made it out to the dance floor he pulled off an impressive little move before beginning to dance with her. She had to smile a little bit when he admitted that he was just showing off. He was at least honest about it and that was somewhat endearing. So maybe he wouldn't be a waste of her time after all.

She danced close to him for a little bit, sliding her arms around his neck. She wasn't really sure if it was the fact that the alcohol affecting her more so than usual or just impatience, but she was getting a bit bored with just dancing at the moment. "Why don't you show me your room?" she said in a tone loud enough to still be heard over the music, but still not that loud. Her lips brushed his ear lightly as she did so.

Orlando knew he was good, but god, he didn't realize how amazing he was at getting women into bed. He grinned slyly, still dancing with her. He didn't assume she was drunk or anything, because she seemed rather put together.

"Maybe she had more to drink than I thought.....Or I rock...."It had to to be the second one.

"You've given up on dancing so soon?" He said outloud, running a hand down her back. "How about, one more drink? I really need one. Then I'll show you whatever you would like." It wasn't as if he didn't want to sleep with her, he just wanted to drink more. That was half the reason he came out of course.

Frankie almost pouted when he said he wanted one more drink... almost. Well that was definitely a first for her. She couldn't remember a time when a man had decided that one more drink sounded better than taking her up to their room when she suggested it. "Fine, one more drink," she replied since he seemed to have his heart set on another one.

She was definitely beginning to regret the decision to go with a younger man though. She hadn't had to deal with this when they were her age or older. Younger guys did always seem intent on getting drunk as well as having fun.

Orlando heard the tone of annoyance from Frankie and almost rolled his eyes. Apparently the woman was used to getting what she wanted. Well she was just going to have to be a bit patient if she really wanted to sleep with him.

He went over to the bar, this time waving a 50 dollar bill for the bartender to see. Though hesitant, the man couldn't deny money. He brought Orlando another rum and coke and Orlando slipped him the 50. He knocked the drink back considerably quick, and turned to Frankie.

"Now my dear, we had places to go, correct?" He leaned down and kissed her strongly on the lips, then slipped an arm around her waist and led her to the door.

Frankie waited for him to get the stupid drink, though she did notice that he didn't think twice about dropping a fifty dollar bill just to get it, which made part of her wonder how much money he actually had. It wasn't because she was a gold digger or anything like that. It was just part of her that she couldn't turn off. When she saw something that peaked her curiosity, she automatically wanted to know more.

She had the means to do so later too if she was still curious about it. She was pulled out of her thoughts though when he did finally speak to her again and kissed her strongly on the lips. It was a good kiss too which surprised her a little bit for some reason. She then allowed him to lead her towards the exit.
