New Arrivals, a.k.a Fresh Meat

With his injuries and exhaustion, Cael could do nothing but glare at the girl who apparently believed she was his mother.
Luckily for him, Emmett saved him for the moment. "Come now, Tamara," he said, tugging her a bit away, "the poor thing just woke up, and you're both scaring and hurting him with your hugs." hopefully at least that thought could get her to release her death grip on him.

Cael looked Raisa over, waiting for her to speak. He was only confused for a moment when she began to write before realizing she must be mute. Or deaf.
At least she was quiet.
As if sensing his thoughts, Emmett whispered in his ear, "Just reply verbally. She can't talk."
He nodded to the other girls, just because he thought it would be polite, before addressing Raisa. "Thanks." it was only then that he looked around and saw that the whole area was in fact filled with flowers. "Yeah, they're pretty. I don't have allergies." of course, he wasn't terribly concerned with flowers. But again, politeness. Even he had been taught to be polite to girls.

It was then that the boys came in. Miri first of course, dragging Ly, then Rishi, and finally Jeren, who looked tired.
Emmett quickly stepped in to make introductions, "This is Miri, he's crazy, but great fun. Here's Ly. He doesn't talk much, but he's real cute. Rishi is the one who healed you up so nicely. He tries to act like a grump, but is a real softie. And finally, this is Jeren, the politest out of all of us." here he addressed Jeren, "Oh dear, did I wake you up? You look tired, and your hair is a mess."
As though they hadn't spoken he ignored protests from Miri and Rishi about their descriptions.
"Yeah, you did wake me up, in fact. At least the kid's up now."
"Any brain damage?" this came from Rishi.
"Rishi! That's not very nice. His name is Cael, and no. You can talk to him in a minute though." Emmett told him, as Miri was personally introducing himself, and Ly was leaving. Now that he'd seen the boy was awake, he didn't want to be anywhere near the crowd.

And somehow, through all of this, Cael was getting the distinct impression that he had just been formally introduced to the mad house.

[Aria]

Tamara had infact let go imideatly after hearing that. "Gah! I'm so sorry baby!" She began fixing up his shiort from where she had messed it up slightly and examined her work. Obviously pleased with beleiving she had made him 'presentable'.

Raisa smiled absolutly releaved. When the others came in she waved and was happy that this time she didn't have to introduce them. Imideatly she grabbed one of the flower arangments and began to mess with it and make it more elaborate. This was, what she did after all.

Freya and Sofia were both shocked at the sudden politness but their reactions were completely different. Freya became seminervouse and uncomphortable with the act where as Sofia simply rolled her eyes following Ly out of the building. It was almost amazing to beleive that those two could get along at all. None the less, once Sofia left Freya followed almost imideatly. Feeling rather uncomphortable around all of the more outgoing people.

Cael sat there in the middle of all the craziness, wondering how he'd gotten himself into this sort of situation. He barely bothered to glare again at Tamara for pretending he was her kid. At least now that three people had left there was a tad more breathing room, but not a whole lot.
But geez, was everyone weird or what?
Emmett was obviously crazy, as were Tamara and anyone that was closely associated with them.
Which was pretty much everyone.
He had never been big in politics, but he could see that it was these two who got things done around here. They were the most influential. Particularly Emmett, who seemed to control virtually everyone.
At least right now they weren't talking to him.

It was then that Jeren sat himself down next to Cael, who had gotten around to sitting up all the way.
As though reading his thoughts he told him, "You certainly managed to get with the wrong people. Unlucky guy. Emmett will never leave you alone, and neither will Tamara. You might as well just condemn yourself now to being her kid and his play toy until something better comes along. And even if he moves on, you'll still be dealing with his annoying flirtations. You can never escape from him, not really."

Well, that certainly didn't make him feel any better. But then again, he had a distinct impression that this guy, Jeren wasn't it?, wasn't out to make him feel better, so he gave a slight grunt, and let it pass.

[Aria]

Tamara glanced at the clock and almost jumped in the air with surprise. "Oh my gosh! It's that late already!? I've got to go get Mao!" She raced out the door yelling over her shoulder that she'd be right back and once again leaving Raisa alone with all of the boys.

Raisa sighed soundlessly. She had finished with the flowers that she had grabbed and was feeling slightly uncomphortable in the room. However, she knew she couldn't leave, not until Tamara came back or she'd die for sure. In the end, she ended up sitting on the other side of Cael but in a more relaxed position then an upright one. She had her back against the wall and one foot on the bed as she used it to prop up her arm.
She looked around the room and lauphed slightly and noislessly to herself. For someone who could get others out of any situation she sure had dificulties saving herself. Jeren was making the poor boy feel worse then he already did, Emmett and Miri seemed to be enjoying themselves, and Rishi looked as though he'd rather be anywhere but here.
Then she began to look around the room. Just about everywhere were flower arangments that she had made for Cael. She blushed slightly as she realized just how much she had been thinking of this guy in the past week. It made her feel uneasy.

Cael watched Tamara leave with a sigh of relief.

"Don't feel too happy, her absence is just like giving Emmett the a-ok" Jeren told him, sounding perfectly happy himself.
Cael gave the boy a rather sullen look. Oh great. He's obviously a sadist.

Funny enough, he probably wouldn't be thinking that quite so lightly were he to know the full story of it. Just how true that was.

As though he was a mind reader, which half the time he might as well be, Emmett walked over and just for the fun of it, sat between Jeren and Cael. Which for most people would have been a feat, considering they weren't sitting far enough apart to admit even a smaller person, like Miri.
But no problem for Emmett! Quite unashamedly he sat half on Jeren's lap, chatting up Cael without seeming to notice when Jeren scooted a bit off to deposit him on the bed, or that it was a largely one-sided conversation.

[Aria]

Raisa lauphed slightly without sound. Emmett's tackticks always made her lauph. Even if half the time she didn't understand what he was trying to say, he never seemed to be speeking to her with the confusing things so she didn't mind. her gaze rested on Rishi and once again he got the feeling that he wanted to leave. She looked at him worriedly and quickly scribbled something on her white bored. Are you ok Rishi? You don't look so good. You're not getting sick are you? She looked conserend and the whole situation seemed to prove just how much time she spent with Tamara. But, then again, she was always far to worried for her own good...
