"A toast, to one of the greatest Bounty Hunters I'll ever have the pleasure of hiring!" laughed the first man, swinging his wine glass up into the air in an exaggerated manner that caused a few drops of wine to leave the glass, and splatter onto the clean table where they sat.
"You flatter me." the Hunter is question said, although he carefully raised his glass all the same.
Clink. The two glasses met at the brims, causing the tinkling little sound that he found so oddly pleasant.

The first man immediently took a long gulp, followed by a satisfied "Ah."
The Hunter on the other hand, merely raised it to his lips, and feigned taking a sip. Although it was a fact that the man before him didn't know, he was still below the legal age, and although he would treat himself to a sip occaisonally just because he could, he felt that tonight was not a good night to drop his guard. Maybe it was even a good night to fade into the background. He didn't like being too public just after finishing a job.

"So, where are you headed off to next? I have a lot of contacts, and it wouldn't take me long to get you the best room in an inn, or something of the like." his employer asked conversationally.
"That is quite the generous offer. You've done more than enough for me already though. And I don't have a particular destination in mind." he chose his words carefully. To punctuate saying that he'd 'done more than enough', he lightly squeezed a bulging coin purse hanging off of his belt. The bills within it made a slight rustling noise, and in that moment Teri thought he saw something in his employer's eyes change, just for a second.

Working for a suspicious, greedy, underhanded businessman like him definately had it's pros and cons, especially cons. While they would give you any cover you needed, you never knew if it was safe to drop your guard afterwards. They were the type who who stab you in the back to get back their money without batting an eye, so it never hurt to be cautious.
