Forum Rules/Guidelines
Video Game Nation and all of the system operators appreciate your cooperation and hope you enjoy the exciting information and community boards at the VGN Forums. To help keep this place a suitable environment, keep the following in mind when posting messages.
Do not post any scripts, images, files or other devices that are sexual, violent, or in any other way inappropriate.
Do not use racial, ethnic, sexual, or religious slurs.
Do not create a Member ID with any profanity, sexually explicit language, sexual innuendo, or racial, ethnic, or religious slurs.
Impersonation of Admins or staff members is prohibited. False representation of yourself as an Administrator can result in immediate termination of your VGN user account.
Never reveal any personal information in chat groups or forums. Do not give other members, even if you know them well, any personal information, including your real name and location.
Do not use profanity or sexually explicit language on the message boards. This includes implying profanity through the use of acronyms. If you attempt to find your way around our word filter it will only lead to a temporary or even permanent ban.
Do provide enticing, stimulating , conversation that is of value to your surrounding community and fellow gamers.
If you follow through with all of this, you should be good to go!
Regarding forum signatures. No signature image may now be larger than 250 x 300 px. Any images found over this limit will be removed or resized.
Regarding forum signatures. Userbars may be stacked up to quad-fold with up to 2 lines of text additional and no more. If exceeded, the lowest userbar will be removed and any exceeding text will be deleted.
Regarding forum signatures. No signature images may be over 100kb in size. Such images are liable to cause slowdown on dial-up users.
Members should not make two or more consecutive posts in one topic before another member has a chance to reply. This is known as DOUBLE POSTING, and it IS against the rules. Users will not immediately get warned, but if it continues, a warning WILL be given. Simply use the modify button to edit a post in a topic instead of posting twice in a row.
