Doushin, not BESM anymore...

In a world called Gaia people have forgotten their origins. Textbooks try to explain the world but fail. In this world there is magic and science, however only women can use magic and science is slowly fading away. There are ancient relics; gem globes of all sizes that come in different colors and all have an unknown symbol suspended in the center, their use long forgotten. Crystal ball pendants filled with liquid gold believed to be dragon blood that can grant magic to men and increase a mages rank by 2. In this fading world these people don’t try to remember, they try not to forget. Dragons are but fairy tales as are elevators and escalators. Only the rich own cars and only mage-families are rich. Mages-to-be go to expensive schools to learn how to use magic, boys from a mage-family or a high family will go to these schools to learn the universal subjects with the girls in hopes of marrying into a mage-family. Sadly even magic is fading away, few girls can use magic and even fewer girls that have the magical potential of becoming sorceress. Their world is slowly dieing and no one notices just how close they are to the end as they try desperately to stop the decay.

Sorceress- a mage who has mastered her craft after over 20 years of study, only mages of a certain caliber can ever hope to earn the title.
Mage school- a school where mages go to learn, learning magic is only 1 of the many subjects they study. Boys can come to these schools too as they also teach universal subjects.
Universal subjects- school subjects such as History, and Science. All students are required to learn these subjects.
Mage-Family- those related by blood to various mages and can trace at least 1 mage per generation for the last 200 years.
High Family- a rich family that has no mage relations. They are never as rich as Mage-Families.
Dragon Blood- term used in reference to the gold filled pendants.
Relic- term used in reference to the gem globes.

Koji Dragonblood- Age: 10? (Clamed by Crow)
Usually energetic he’s prone to bouts of depression. He had a traumatizing childhood but no one knows just how bad it was. Surprisingly optimistic for a penniless orphan, his optimism sometimes seem forced as though he’s trying to cling to something…

Seisui furuchi- Age: 10
Rich but far from spoiled, she’s kind and quite spoken, training as a mage she met Koji before he even entered the school, where she immediately adopted him, to Koji’s confusion. She performs random acts of kindness that are most often an interesting solution to a problem (such as Koji’s adoption)

Koskue ikasu- Age: 18 (Clamed by draeko)
Rich but not from a Mage-Family originally the only reason he was in this school was too meet girls, but that changed when Koji was trust upon him. Favored by the principal of the school for some unknown reason, he ended up with the job of watching Koji. At first he was irritated by Koji but warmed up to him the minute he stated apologizing about his cloths…or lack there of. After that incident Koskue became Koji’s acting mother and now completely ignores all girls, to their displeasure. Over protective and intelligent he can easily tell if something’s wrong with Koji. He’s Sporadic and will do some of the most random things seemingly without reason. These "random" things usually turn into a revenge plot of some sort aimed at Koji's tormenters.

I wondn't mind making a dorky idiot 12 year old boy named Ifran Mikuja who ends up finding this dragon blood-filled pendent in a box of Chniese food.

It was a gloomy day when Ifran walked home, the rain having stopped just a couple hours ago. It was Friday and he just got out of shcool, when a car flying down the road obviously coming back from drinking at the bar on the more exstravigant side of the city by the fact that it's a car and they where swaying back and forth across the road. *SPLASH* covered in mud and nearly getting run over the car slid to a stop, 30 seconds and some profane words after, the mud had made his face the new home for some(what ever type of money your gona use) money. Leaving some prints of the coins and a cut on his left cheak. He pulled the money off his face, The coins littered the ground, picking up the scattered change and combinding it with what he had, he had the equivilent of $20.73. His mother planed for him to pick up chinese food after shcool for dinner.
his mother told him to stop at what looked like a run down resturant with a sign that "Chinese fo" was all that was legable left and give your name. Getting nervous while he approched he notised that their was light and music coming from inside he walked inside and to his suprise was probily the fanciest place intell the greater part of the city. It had white walls with a wooden border a little more than half way down the wall, under that was red wallpapper with chinese symboles with dragon and florile dacorations, the room had gold pillers with dragon carvings wraped around them, the the seat cousions and tablecloth where crimsin red. All of a sudden an odd chinese man steped in front of him saying you can't come dressed like that, being covered in mud is no way to walk in here now off with you. But my mother told me to get some food! My names Ifran Mikuja oh, your mother called saying you'd drop by. Kanami get Mr.Mikuja's food and hurry, yes sir. here you go. How much do I owe you? $19.78. *hands him a twenty gets $0.22 back* Tell your mom I said hi and don't come back covered in mud. whats your name, Eji Tanaka. As Ifran was leaving he heared he a clang of pots and pans as well as shouting that he couldn't make out. When he got home he set the food on the kichen conter. when it was time to eat the food was microwaved so it would be warm Ifran his mother and father sat down to eat Ifran got tereaki, lomain, and an odd shaped eggroll. Half way through eat there was a loud crack and Ifran fell back in his chair chofing up glass and what seemed to be a goldish liquid.

I'll stop here because already terible long but Ifran would end up in the hospitle and some sueing but this isn't a book. sorry for it being so long.

yup it's all mine and there are 2 more characters, I'll put their Bios up when I figure out names for them...and I did it in word which is why my spelling isn't as bad as it usually is
