The Lost Woods…a place of great mystery and wonder. It all changed here, in this dense forest, this is where I received the letter, this is where it all changed. I had lived here by my self ever since that fateful night, I try not to think of it…when I was forced out of my home, and pursued into these woods…

Years later...I was training in my grotto in the woods as I had done everyday. When suddenly, a cloaked figure bumped into me out of nowhere, and fled with a screech after knocking me on the forest grass. I got up slowly, rubbed my head for a second and started to talk “What the--” I noticed he had left behind something, a piece of paper all folded neatly. No, a letter. I opened the piece of paper, and it read as follows:

Meet in the small town of Tathar, near the Gerudo Desert in three days…don’t be late…

There was no signature, nothing. I puzzled over it for a second. It could be a trap. It could be anything…I brushed back my long silver hair and sighed.

“What the hell,” I decided. “I’ll take the risk.”

Objectives:
~Receive your letter
~Meet the rest of the group in Tathar
~Find out more about the cloaked figure(s)

Yes, I expect all of you to be familiar with each other's characters and talk in first person.

My name is Rashin Unaha and on this night I was alone. I am a Wolfos warrior from the east but I was thrown out of Hyrule, never to return again.I look strange at first and you might want to avoid me if you want to live. It was a dark night in the wonderous Lost Woods. Kiyana went out hunting for food. I looked up at the stars in wonder. I sighed. " How the stars in the night sky seem to twinkle." I said. My wolf ears twitched. It couldn't be Kiyana. It was too soon.

The sky went black. The stars seemed to disappear. I heard a rustle and a cloaked figure came out of the bushes. "Who...What are you?" I asked. " A mere peasant." The figure said. "Who can turn off the stars?" I said. "Lets just say i'm gifted." the figure said angrily. "ANSWER THE GIRL!" A low throaty growl said. It was Kiyana. She trotted over to her 'daughter'. "Heh heh heh. A girl and her wolfos." The figure mocked. "I am a goddess of the forest so shut your hole!" Kiyana remarked.

" I just came to give your daughter this little note." The cloaked one said. He walked over and gave me a note. It was a riddle.. "Hmm.... Look in to the eyes of a beast and see what you see, then there will be a note you may want to read. What is this?!?" I demanded. But the figure was gone. The ground shook. "Wwwwhhhhaaattttt tttthhhheee heeelllllll!!!!????" I said as it continued to shake. Something was coming. It was knocking the trees down as if they were tooth picks. " I don't like this mother!" I said. The ground stop shaking. The sun was about to come up and I saw what was coming at me. "Ah Hell!" Kiyana said. She ran off. "YEAH! THANKS MOM!" I yelled after her. A giant cobra like thing. *It's an Anacondaur like thingy but not a Midgar Zolom* It threw its head down just starting the battle.

"AH!" I yelled as I nearly missed a tail whack. I got my bow and quiver and shot the beast in the left eye. Something fell out of it but I didn't care. The creature roared and thrashed around. Then I remembered the hints. I got my claw gloves and scrambled to get on it. But stopped when I saw nightshade. I quickly got them and rubbed the poisonous fluid on my claws. I then began climbing up the creature once more, being sure to dig my claws right in the flesh. I was on the head in more than a minute. I looked in the right eye and saw something.

The snake writhed and thrashed but I took one of her claws out of the slot and jammed it in the snake's head. It died from the poison of the nightshade. "So thats why they call it nightshade." I laughed. The eye flashed once more and a note was shining. "HA!" I yelled. I dug the note out and read it. Meet in Tathar, a small town near the Gerudo Desert…..don‘t be late." Well...I want to goto Tathar since that they were having the annual Archery Tournament." I said. I got my claw out of the snake's head and put it back in my glove Then howled for Kiyana.

"AHWOOOOOOO!!!!!! (Mother! Come here NOW!)" I howled in wolfos. Kiyana came rampaging. "What was this creature?" She asked. "Dunno. Never mind. Think we can get to Tathar in three days?" I asked. "Honey. We'll be in Tathar in an hour at top speed." Kiyana. "Okay. I can do this. Lets go!" I said. And the I got on Kiyana and we set off to Tathar.

((I talk in 3rd person, firstperson is uncomfortable for me, I prefier to treat my RP character as a sepreate entity becaue offten times my character is very different for me, I hope it doesn't cause any problems...I also hope this little bit here doesn't cause any problems...O.o))

"This is heroic" Navitas said from over Chiyu's sholder

"Shhhhhh! " She exclamed while peaking out from behind a bush. "you don't want it to see us do you?" and gestures to a fairly big brutish boar-like monster.

"and to think it only took us 2 weeks to get to the closest town..."

"SHHHHHHHHHH!!! Do you want me to spend another day in a Tree?" she stood her up and brushed herself off, and after giving the monster one last look to make shure it was a safe distance away, contiuned on. no more then 20ft away was a large plant that required a detour to get around.

"If this isn't lame I don't know what is!" Navitas swooped in close to the violent plant as if to illistrate his point. "It can't even come after you! If you wack it enough..." He had no sooner finnished then the plant began to inhale. "Do you think you can get me so easly?!" He cryed as he was being sucked in. "I'll stab you to death from the inside! Just try and stop me!" He pulled out a tinny Katana and began shouting death threats.

"Of all the! Navitas!" Swinging her staff she knocked Navitas out of the way and gave the plant a good whak on the nose. She scooped up Navitas and made a run for it, not to escape from the plant, but to keep Navitas from pulling the same stunt.

"Ai, there young madien" Exclamed a shadowedy figure under a tree, the voice was that of an elder and upon closer inspection his atire was a tattred old cloak

"What can I help you with Grandfather?" Chiyu asked pioltly

"I'm weary from my travles" he explaned "I've run out of food and water and I'm afraid I won't last, I've got a fever you see." he said. "if you would please just stay with this poor old man until his death.."

"Oh I can do much better then that!" Chiyu exclamed excitably "I can cure your...Oh, he's passed out" She bent down and healed him "That wasn't much of a fever, I was able to heal him compleatly..." She commented outloud

"who cares!" Navitas began picking thru the mans cloak. "Now for payment...What?!" He held up a tattred letter. "This is it?! Oh well when he wakes up we can hold it hostage...First lets see what it says" He opens the letter and pokes a branch thru it. "Lets see it says Meet in the small town of Tathar, near the Gerudo Desert in three weeks…don’t be late…

"What?" Chiyu looks up at Navitas.

"Hehehehe! it's your invitation I do hope you can come" crakled the old man

"!" Chiyu spins around to find the old man gone. "Bu-but I couldn't have looked away for more then a few seconds!" She exclamed

"well thats a bad omen" Navitas said fatly "Never stand up an omnipinit being I'll come right back to bite you in the ass"

Chiyu Supn around to glare at Navitas "We'll go, and you'll keep that mouth of yours incheck" she scoled him. "well we'd better get going...it's going to take awhile" With a sigh Chiyu and Navitas star out for Tathar.

"it's going to take weeks" Navitas said from her sholder

"Yes....Yes it is" She looked sadly in the direction of the clostest town, still out of view but no more than a day or so away.

[(ooc: I Have too difficult a time playing in first person.. >_< plus it goes against my Big Bob rping roots.. i was taught 3rd person)]

Crow was walking along a heavily worn and beaten path through a thickly settled forest, where the light that could pass through the trees danced whenever a small breeze swung by. Crow sighed heavily as he stared up at the trees around him.

"I wish I had never left..", he said softly with sadness.

Then a shadow darted across the trees above, disurbing the light violently and casting a shadow that was blotted out by the sun as quickly as it had came. From two directions hideous daggers shot forth, which caused crow to jump backwards. The daggers had missed, but barley. Then several more daggers shot in his direction, these daggers bounced harmlessly off his clawed gauntlets. One final dagger was thrown, but with no intent to kill, but rather, with a letter attached to it, which stuck in the ground at his feet. In the distance hisses and screeches echoed, no animal sound could compare to the horror and pain within them.

Crow bent down with his head and left arm up, alert as if expecting to be attacked again, with his right, he plucked the letter and the dagger from the ground and tossed aside the ugly looking peice of weaponry. While he opened the letter with one hand, and read it carefully as it was done in very intracate and decorative writing.
the letter read:

Meet in the small town of Tathar, near the Gerudo Desert in three days…don’t be late…

He smiled an empty smile, then laughed loudly. "This is going to be.. fun..", his inner child seemed to take hold as he seemed giddy to see more of the world.

"wait.. whats a desert?!", he stopped and stood dumbfounded for a moment and though, until he had reached into his backpack and pulled out a small, but fairly worn, thick book, and a map, which was made of a tan cloth. He suddenly plopped down on the ground and sat studying the map an
d the book.

I was sat by the river outside the town walls, just trying to enjoy the day, out of the crowded streets, just to be left on my own, then a shadow came over in the shape of a rider on a horse so I said, without looking at him
“Do you mind, I was enjoying the sun on my back, now unless you want something I suggest you be on your way.” Then I heard a low laugh come from him, then he said “now, now calm down, its not wise to say things like that to someone you have never even seen now is it.”
I turned around and looked at him and said
“Happy now ive looked at you now kindly get lost before I get angry” I stood up and drew my sword, it gleamed in the sunlight, he stepped off his house and put his hand out, he was holding a letter “this is for you, now take it.” I looked at the letter, I lowered my sword, and took the letter from his hand, I opened it, looked up and he was gone, I looked back at the letter and said
“the tathar huh, why not I don’t have anything else to do” so I got up and headed for the desert

(Um sorry that I kinda had to mod your character Goffa. I don't want this post to be so short.)

I was having a wonderful time on Kiyana's back it felt good to not walk anymore, as I did a long part of the way to Tathar. Kiyana showed no signs or tiring and pressed on, taking no rest. She stopped and I knew that we must be getting close. And I felt very hot. But I couldn't say anything, for Kiyana was panting very heavily, I patted her sides. "Come on Mother, Lets go get an inn. I bet Tathar has one with Vacancy, and maybe its cool." I said. Kiyana gave a smile and headed on to Tatha. On our way, I beheld a very peculiar sight, a Sheikah with a black mouth cloth. I asked Kiyana to stop. "You! Sheikah! It is very peculiar to see one of a supposedly extinct race." I yelled after him. He turned. "It is quite peculiar to see a Hylian with wolfos ears." He remarked. My ears twitched and laid flat and I was insulted.

It was then that I noticed that he had a note in his hand. "Odd. You have a note and is heading for Tathar. That says 'Meet in Tathar in three days...don't be late' Doesn't it?" I asked. The Sheikah nodded. "You have one too I suppose?" He asked. "Correct. Its the second day now and it will be the third soon. Would you like to ride with me on Kiyana's back? I am sure it would make no difference and besides...who wants to be late for a party?" I asked. "Good point. Say, how did you tame that wolfos anyway? And how did you manage to get her so large?" He asked.

"Tame? I should think not. Not even Din, Farore, and Nayru combined could tame me. I tamed her." Kiyana spoke out. This apparentley frightened the Sheikah for only one half a second. "Oh, you must be a Forest Spirit. I have heard very little of you, but would you be Kiyana?" He asked. Kiyana was apparently distracted and changed the subject. "We must hurry. I smell something....And it isn't friendly. Young Sheikah, get on my back, Hurry!" She growled. Arrows came from the cliffs and Kiyana bounded off and the Sheikah had to grab my hand quickly so she wouldn't leave him behind.

Suddenly Kiyana yelped, an arrow hit her tail and side. She tripped and fell over on her side and the Sheikah's leg was trapped. Two Gerudos down from the cliffs, and I grabbed my bow and nocked two arrows before you could say knife. "If you dare attack my mother, you shall both die, for I let off arrows faster than the sun heats Hyrule. And I don't miss." I threatened. Kiyana tried to get up but fell, and I could here the Sheikah grunt in pain. The Gerudo's went around me fast and headed for the Sheikah, yet their attempt was heeded by two arrows in their backs.

" I also never lie about my skills." I said to the dead Gerudos. I ran over to my mother and pulled the arrows out and managed to push her up. I held out my hand to the Sheikah and smiled. "Need some help?" I asked. The Sheikah grabbed my hand and I helped him up. " I think my leg is broken or sprained." He said. "By the way, what is your name?" I asked. "Vusan, yours?" "Rashin Unaha.....Pleasure to meet you." I said

I gazed down at my wounded right leg ruefully. “Damn it!” I yelled furiously. Rage filled my crimson eyes. “Calm down,” Rashin said, “It’s not that bad a wound, it’s treatable.” “Don’t tell me what to do,” I replied coldly. I grunted in pain, my leg was really killing me. “Let me help you,” Rashin said.

I motioned for her to stay where she was. I ripped a piece of black cloth from my clothes and tied it around my leg for support. “I prefer to do things myself,” I replied. “Fine, if you’re okay.” “I’m fine, I can travel on it,” I said hastily.

“Then let’s get going,” Kiyana said. I pulled the black cloth back over my mouth and looked at my gauntlets. Rashin boarded Kiyana’s back and said “Hurry up!” “I’m coming,” I said. I struggled onto Kiyana’s back with my wounded leg and held on tight.

No sooner had we started moving again when another volley of arrows came whizzing by us. Rashin ducked and covered her head, but I didn’t bother to move. Suddenly, Kiyana yelped and fell to one side. I toppled and fell off but they kept going, either not noticing my absence or not caring.

I got up quickly and brushed myself off and ducked at an incoming arrow. I couldn’t move too well on my leg, but I could manage. I ran forward as fast as I could toward my foe, dodging every arrow launched my way. The gerudo seemed amazed by my skill. She fired arrow after arrow but none could hit me. I had intense concentration after living in the Lost Woods so long. With a final burst of speed, I grabbed an arrow she was about to fire and threw it aside, then punched her square in the stomach with my spiked gauntlet.

I left hastily for Tathar leaving the gerudo either unconscious or dead.

i had been traveling for 2 days now, i was not far off from tathar, i was running as fast as i could non stop during the day and then sleeping by moonlight, but never truely asleep as there are many foes in the world and you can not afford to be caught off guard, as i was running i saw what seemed to be a young woman riding a wolfo, i thought it might be from lack of sleep, but i rubbed my eyes and it was still there, this was very strange, usually wolfos wont alow anyone even near them without attacking, or so id heard, but i continued running, i was aproaching a small clearing when i heard a faint whistling coming toward me, then an arrow shot by my head, i turned and saw a gerudo archer and stopped and said "so you wannna dance huh, alright im game." i smerked at her and darted up to her, she let another arrow fly, it caught my arm, but it didnt matter to much i could sort that after, i drew my sword, ran up to her and just as she was about to place another arrow on the string and pull i sliced the bow in two, i stood next to her lowered my sword and spoke "so got anything else or shall we just leave it and you can get away with your life, or do we continue and i smear your guts across the floor?" she pulled a dagger out of her belt and atempted a strike, i grabbed her wrist "i guess you chose the second option" i placed my blade on her throat and ripped it open and her lifeless bodie fell to the floor and i wiped the blood from my blade and went on my way, jusy one day left.

Chiyu Sighed deeply as she looked at the leaves swaying in the breeze. “this is all your fault” She looked over her shoulder at Navitas who was floating a safe distance away. “You just had to pick a fight didn’t you?” She shifted uncomfortableley. “I wouldn’t be stuck in this tree if you could just keep to yourself!” she snapped angrily.

“How was I suppose to know there was a whole tribe of them?!” Navitas said defensively

“Does that change the fact that there is A tribe of boar-monsters setting up camp under my tree?”

“No”

“Then I don’t want to hear it”

“yes ma’am”

After leaving Hyrule Castle Town and getting lost in Hyrule Field for three days, I came upon a forest nearing the southern half of the field. I had been to the place before, so it was a familiar and inviting place to rest.
I was parched to the point where my tongue felt as though it should fall apart into dust at any moment, so I took out the last of the Lon Lon milk that was stored in my flask. I eyed it wearily, not sure if I was desperate enough to drink it yet.

I had gotten the milk nearly a week before, and due to my inability to keep track of time, I had totally forgotten about it for days. Two nights before when I lay on the open field beneath the starlight I had noticed a noxious odor emanating from my bag. Wondering what it was, I searched, and found that it came from my flask. That's when I had remembered what it was, and it made me shudder. I was thirsty, but not that thirsty.
Not being one to waste things, I simply kept it in my flask in case of dire need. But each time my thirst came over me, when I looked into the flask and took a whiff, it completely subsided. But one cannot survive on will alone, and soon I was crawling in the middle of a vast field, in which seemed to be never ending.

This is when I came upon the same familiar forest haven that I had visited several times before. I new that there was a clear and sparkling stream just within the canopies. As soon as it came into site I was revigorated, and raced towards it at such a rate that I was surprised that I hadn't lost my footing.
Once I was within the shadows of the trees I came upon the stream, and started to swallow the water to my heart's content. I quickly felt ill however, as even though I was still so thirsty, my stomach had shrunk due to not being full. I lay down by the riverside, sweating, aching, feverish. As I lay in pain I saw beasts and ghouls caused by the delirium that had invaded my thoughts, biting and clawing at me. I simply lay still, for even in such a state as I was, I am always calm. I grabbed some herbs from my pouches and started to make a quick concoction. I quickly swallowed the thing, but just as quickly regurgitated it.

I realized that I simply couldn’t swallow it. So I lay there, resting my head on the bottom of a tree trunk, entertaining myself with the fearsome visions that danced in front of me. As I watched them dancing and taunting me, another phantom garbed in black came forward and stood before me. He stared at me from behind a curtain of shadow, unable to see his eyes. He walked away from me some and sat on a stump, still staring at me. After what seemed like half an hour he spoke to me
“ Men with a constitution like yours should not travel alone. They easily wind up in need of help. However…”
I hurt so much that I couldn’t reply, so I just waited, seeing what else my subconscious would tell me.
“ You… aren’t like most men, are you? You’re… used to being alone?” This time I replied.
“ Not necessarily.” I said. “ In fact, I often times visit old friends of mine on these trips. I travel to meet new people and learn new things, not to prove my own mettle.”
The shade laughed in what appeared to be amusement. “ So, what you’re saying is, that you are never truly alone?”
I nodded, “ Yes, I suppose that’s how one could put it. I can’t just let, myself die, you know? That would be very irresponsible of me.”
My head quickly shot with pain and I closed my eyes. “ Why is that?” my imaginary ‘friend’ replied, “ Because you wouldn’t be able to help people, is that it?”
I started to nod again, but my head stung even more so, so I stopped. “ Well, that’s a part of it. But I still haven’t met my destiny head on yet. I can’t let such an interesting read end here.”
The shadow got up and came over to me. “ Don’t worry, it won’t end here. Not with you penning your tale anyway.”
He leaned over and placed something in my bag and turned to me. “ You forgot the Lola flower extract.” he said.
I stared at him, puzzled. “For your medicine. It’ll soothe your stomach so that you can swallow better.”

I slapped my self in the head, not believing my own stupidity. The robed figure nodded and walked out of site behind the trees as I slunk my hand through my bag from my prone position, searching for the last ingredient. I quickly added it to the potion and swallowed. This time it stayed down.
I heaved a sigh of relief and took a swig from my flask, and quickly hacked it back up when the spoiled milk waged war with my taste buds. I dunked my head under water and let the flowing water clean my mouth out. Once I had lifted my head back out of the water I emptied the contents of my canister into the water, giving a silent prayer to the poor fish that inhabited the now contaminated stream.
