My Hometown!, Post Pics/Descriptions of Your Hometown

I'd love to see the sights and hear about the member's hometowns. Please post pics and anything else about where you live.

I'm from Vancouver, BC, Canada and one of my favorite activities is hiking on the nearby mountains.

First off, here's a picture of Downtown Vancouver:


Actually, I live in a suburb just outside of Vancouver called Port Coquitlam. Below is downtown Port Coquitlam, or Poco for short.


Here's a couple of shots taken on Mt Seymour, near Vancouver.

I live in Berlin in the District Spandau. I think you all have heard about Berlin because of very sad History things and such stuff.

Facts you maybe dont know:

Berlin is a VERY Big City in its expansion because in the most places you cant build high Buildings because the Underground is very Sandy.

Berlin is surrounded by large forests.

The City Berlin we all know today exists cause of a Fusion of the Citys Berlin-Cölln, Köpenick and Spandow (Today Spandau)

The District Spandau is still pretty much like a own City because the Havel is between Spandau and the Rest of Berlin and the District has also a very strong own History. (Spandau was founded ~1157 and Berlin around 1237)

We love our Currywurst. WURST all the Day. (Wurst was nominated as one of the most German Words they're totally right)

Our Mayor is Gay - and we dont like him because he prefers to go to parties instead of doing his Work.

I've never really seen anything of Berlin other then old WWI and WWII movies.
It looks like a beautiful place, somewhere I'd love to visit in the future.

Hey, I live in London, England which will be hosting the 2012 Olympics this year!

I enjoy gaming and listening to music so no outdoor activities I can post that I enjoy...

Millions of tourists every year come to London to see some of these venues.

We have our famous bridge which is called... London Bridge haha.


We have a show called Eastenders which is filmed in East London.


We have a river called, The River Thames
