Anyone playing Music Wars Rebirth 2?

Just wondering as I have bought it and playing the Beta and wanted to see what other people think of it if they have bought it.

This is the first I've heard of this game. I took a quick look at a description on IGN and it looks very similar to Chart Wars 3, except CW3 is freeware.

Have you played CW3? If so, could you tell me what the differences between Music Wars and Chart Wars?

Yes I have played CW3 and CW3 is good in it's on right, however I feel Music Wars Rebirth 2 expands on CW3.

MWR2 is still in BETA and currently in BETA 10b however BETA 11 will be released soon the Developer as said.

In Music Wars Rebirth 2 you can release Music Videos which helps promote your song and also helps it be a hit, you can choose different production types for your video.

You can choose the writers for your artist's album, so you can pick from other artists in the game as well as your own, not all as in this BETA so far there is about 11 from different genres.

You can also do the same for picking the producers for your album, however right now there are only about 7 of them and they are all for the genre pop.

Songs rise in the charts in some markets, instead of just peaking in the first week like in CW3.

A new feature being added in for the full release soon I think, and this is what I have read on the forums, is that if you have a hit single, or many hit singles before the album release then more chance of the album being a smash hit etc. As in real life.

However this may not always be the way as in real life you also get artists who are better at selling albums then singles.

Like I said, I'm not sure if this will be added in, I saw someone suggest it and the developer replied.

I can't think of too much on the spot, when the next BETA is released I can add more?

BETA 11 has just been released but the .Zip file is currently broken.

Okay Beta 11 has been officially released.

Added in right now are awards, however there is only one award show currently.

One thing which is different from CW3 though, is you can get invited to perform, which will give you a popularity boost so far.

Only thing added in right now, mainly bugs have been fixed. But this is the BEST Beta so far which is a +

I and others are hoping that he will add a rise in sales for your single when you perform it at an award show as well, which does look likely which is great.
