The Clash

[Shanna]

This is where the battle between the two packs will take place.

I ask that the two Alphesses post first (Brokefang and Rashlynn) bringing their packs into the Hills and maybe sending a few choice words towards the other Alphess. XD To make it more EPIC! I think they should each climb a hill to see the other pack on the hill opposite. The little dip in between the two hills is where the battle takes place.

Whichever Alphess gets to this topic first posts first. So have fun. =3

Please try to not powerplay during the fight! I know it can be hard.. but just think about what you post to try and give whoever you are attacking a chance.

[Rashlynn]

Rashlynn reached another hill right before the small valley dipped into a bowl. She grinned her devil smile and signaled for her pack to follow and stand behind her. She went to the very edge of the hill, and let loose a hackle-raising howl as a challenge to the other Alphess. When she finished, she sat there, waiting for the return of the call. Her adrenaline pounded in her veins as she felt her body fidget from her excitment. Her attention directed to Cobalt and the sheer look of him made her even more ready. She sneered in teh direction of the other pack. She was so going to enjoy this. She tried to pick up on any foreign minds, but failed so she waited as patiently as possible.

((I will try to get on later and do a post for Moon and Cheif. Sorry guys I have to get off now DX))

[Brokefang]

Catching the scent of other wolves in the air, Brokefang's fangs (ha! xD) clenched thightly and a low growl emitted from her throat. Speeding up her pace some, she broke into a fast run as she reached the next hill, skidding to a stop however as the sight of the other pack reached her vision.
Frowning, she glanced down to the back that she had pulled ahead of and motioned for them to come up, glancing back to the other pack her eyes wandered over to Rashlynn, a small frown forming.
Glad she had told the pups to wait back at their little spot in a gathering of bushes, she flicked her tail slightly, a feeling inside her gut told her this pack wasn't just passing through their territory.

Catching up to his sister, Redfang scanned the pack on the opposite hill, well, the numbers looked even enough.
But his hopes quickly vanished as his eyes spotted Cobalt amongst the mix, shaking his head in disbelief, he glanced back and saw the former pack leader standing there, plain as day.
Staring in astonishment, he nudged Brokefang who growled, "Not now, Red." she stated sharply.
Taking the hint that she didn't want to be bothered, Redfang frowned, well, she'd see him soon enough he figured.

Cobalt hung back behind Neaga, green head lifted just high enough to see the other pack on the hill opposite. He almost smiled as vague memories came back, and he recognized Brokefang beside who he thought was her brother. His brows furrowed in confusion though, at the feelings that arose when he laid eyes on his sister. Rashlynn had never specifically pointed out that Shanna had any play in the betrayal of him. As far as he knew, she was an innocent. He felt like he was laying eyes on a long-lost friend.. but at the same time anger rose as he saw the emotions glittering in her eyes as they made contact with his own. He tore his eyes away and stared at Brokefang, hoping to make contact with the Alphess instead of his sister.

Shanna gasped audibly as she laid eyes on her brother. Her legs almost buckled beneath her and she backed up, nearly sending both herself and Migeru crashing down the hill. She didn't apologize though, for she didn't even notice. She had eyes only for Cobalt. What was going on? How.. why? Why did her mind play tricks on her like this? How could any of it be true? Was it really Cobalt standing over there? She watched as he looked away from her and towards Brokefang. This battle just got a whole lot tougher.

[Brokefang]

Hearing the loud tumble; Brokefang galnced over her shoulder, only to turn her head all the way around to watch as Shanna tumbled back into Migeru and rolled down the hill.
Letting out a small sigh, the female's ears flicked back, somewhat embarressed, they needed to look strong and tumbling over eachother wasn't.
Turning her attention back to the pack before them, she soon saw why Shanna had accidently tumbled into Migeru, eyes locking onto Cobalt, Brokefang's heart dropped into her stomach and she suddenly felt sick.
No way was he alive, this was some trick, looking to the ground for awhile, she looked back up, but he was still there. Feeling dizzy momentarily, she soon shook herself out of the state she was in and stared in some shock and happiness at the sight of her mate, though the happiness quickly left as she realized he was on the /other/ side of the valley.
"Oh no..." she mummbled, ears flicking back in worry, she had a feeling this was /not/ going to end well.

"That's what I was trying to tell you." Redfang murrmered, glancing back to Shanna and Migeru to see if they were OK.

[Siranul]

Siranul noticed both Brokefang's and Shanna's reaction. She cocked her head. They were acting like they had seen a ghost! Her eyes searched the other pack for the cause. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw. There, standing amongst the other pack, was Cobalt. Her jaw hung open as she stared. It was impossible. She'd seen him die. Everyone had seen him die. Her heart was torn in two with the clashing emotions of seeing the Alpha again and the confused fear of seeing him suddenly alive and with the strange other pack. Sympathy was added to the mix when she thought of how Shanna and Brokefang must be feeling right now. A whimper rose in her throat. This wasn't going to be good.

Neaga grinned wickedly across the bowl between the two hills. He saw what the appearence of Cobalt was doing to the pack. He felt almost jealous of the power his packmate had over them. But who cares about the stupid green wolf? He had only one thing on is mind. Spotting Siranul, he grinned even more. Revenge was so close! His black tail twitched behind him in impatiant exitement. Cobalts appearance must have been distractiong her, she didn't seem to notice him. This was perfect; it mean that their reunion would be like he wanted it. Face to face. There he could see her shock up close. With tensed muscles, he waited for Rashlynn's command to attack.

[Migeru]

Migeru sighed, "I don't even get a chance to scope out the enemy forces and already I'm on my back, he quickly flipped back up and hurried over to his packmates. On the other hilltop he spotted the targets, counting them he decided he could probably take on at least two on his own if need be. Upon seeing a particular glowing green one though he quickly changed his mind, "That's... No... it couldn't be..." He knew it must have been some sort of mind trick but his helmet protects him from that. It had to be Cobalt, somehow he was there, alive, and with an enemy back. Putting his emotions aside he got ready for a long and hard fight. Having Cobalt against them would definitly change things, "Broke ma'am... How do you want to proceed?"

[Brokefang]

Brokefang got over her shocked state and looked to Migeru as his voice broke through the somewhat surprised silence that had came over the pack.
Looking to him she frowned some, "We wait, if they mean trouble then we'll go, but for now, we wait."
But she did know the meant trouble, if not, the other pack would've called out by now or nodded a hello. This pack just stared hungrily at her pack, ecspecially one of the male wolves that had spotted Siranul.

Kylee's eyes scanned over the pack before them, well, they seemed in a state of shock at the sitght of their former leader so it couldn't be too hard, could it? She had learned not to question how strong an opponent could be though so she wouldn't be coming to conclusions too soon.
Glancing over to Neaga she frowned, everyone seemed to have a target in mind except for her, scanning over the wolves, she soon spotted out the Alphessess brother, 'I suppose he will work.' she decided finally.

[Rashlynn]

Rashlynn let a wicked smile creep onto her face as she watched the other pack fall into shock over Cobalt. She snickered at their reactions, especially the female that tripped over the male. She let out a bit of laughter and looked to her pack. She walked as far as she could on the little hill and then jumped to the ground below. She crouched to a pose that was more feline than canine. She snarled in the direction of the opposing pack. She turned in a tight circle to signal for her pack to attack when they feel they were ready. She turned back to the other Alphess and smiled, waiting for the action to start before getting in herself.


Moon gaped open-mouthed at the Rivals. She shivered as a cold chill ran down her spine. She stepped forward after the other Alphess did and let a low growl sound deep in her throat. She thought about the last time she had been in a head to head fight and grimaced as she mentally traced the scar on her throat and belly. She stood up straight, holding her head high and proud. She would protect her family at all cost.


Cheif looked around him at the rest of his fellow packmates, and then watched their gazes fall on the wolf that he had watched...die. He swallowed the lump forming in his throat and looked at Siranul, who looked utterly spooked. He walked slowly to her side and licked her shoulder, trying to give her some confidence. He really wished that he was able to give a little of his powers to each one of them, but knew it wasn't possible. He laid his ears back flat against his skull in the Rivals direction. He moved into a spot beside Brokefang and got into a fighing stance. "What do you want to do Brokefang?" The shots were, hopefully, going to be called by them against this other pack. He waited silently for her answer.

[Brokefang]

Watching as the Alphess of the other pack headed down into the valley, a small frown spreading across her muzzle as the female turned her back on her, /that/ was a major sign of disrespect in the leader position.
Narrowing her eyes coldly to the female, Brokefang looked over to Cheif and frowned, "You know what to do, it thing's get...well, if thing's get bad, you get everyone out of here. Fast. Meanwhile, just make sure the other wolves over there don't get in my way..." she growled.
Well, if she did end up getting killed, she didn't want the others to meet the same fate.
Striding calmly down to the female she frowned, "Mind telling me what you're doing on /my/ lands?" she questioned bitterly, if this female wasn't going to show her respect she wasn't getting none in return. Of course she didn't know that Rashlynn was after Cheif.

Seeing Moon's sudden change in posture, Redfang grinned brightly, walking up next to her, he nipped her ear reassuringly.
Casting her a teasing grin, he returned his attention to the pack across the valley from them, his features growing serious again.

Seeing the other Alphess heading to Rashlynn, she frowned, looking to Cobalt to see when he made his move.
Still somewhat not liking the thought of how he could so easily think of killing his former mate without a sense of guilt made her feel alittle..well, not liking the wolf at all. Even the cruelest wolf would have to think about doing /that/ type of deed...
Shaking the thoughts from her head, Kylee watched the wolves from the other pack with wary eyes.

[Rashlynn]

Rashlynn grinned and laughed bitterly, swirling around to face the "brave" female. "We are seeking revenge and you have something that I want. Now." Her eyes danced with fire and glee as she waited eagerly. She was going to let her pack have fun and start when they liked.

Moon grinned at Redfang and then had an idea. She winked at him and fell into the shadows, heading around the valley to head into the woods surrounding them. She heard the words of the Alphesses and frowned at the disrespect from Rashlynn. She kept on her way, trying her best to stay silent. Her plan was to sneak-attack at least one of the Rivals, and knock out one of their problems.


Cheif looked up at Brokefang, shocked. "You don't think I am going to leave you here to face a fate you do not deserve do you?! You have pups back there that are hoping their mother will come back to them. Even if I will be going against your orders I will not leave your side. I will send a telepathic message to the others, telling them to leave but I will stay." He put on his stubborn expression and watched her walk away. His fur bristled and he growled as he suddenly caught Rashlynn's thoughts, telling her secret to why she was here. Brokefang! Watch your back, she wants me. She thinks she can steal my powers for her own good. Just get back here and let me handle this, please...he couldn't bear the images that were going through his mind. Of her pups being left to no parents. He growled and snarled furiously, hoping their Alphess would take his advice.

[Brokefang]

Frowning, Brokefang gave the Alphess a somewhat puzzled look. Catching Cheif's words, followed by his telepathic one, she let out a small sigh, 'Cheif, hush, I'm the Alphess, you'll do as I say if things get tough or so help me I'll haunt you.' she messaged him back mentally, thinking quietly to herself, she frowned.
Taking a few steps back from the Alphess, a small smile appeared on her muzzle, "I don't know if you can take him, but you can try, let's just say I gave you a fair warning." she stated, looking up to Cheif, she motioned for him to come down.

Smirking as Moon headed off, Redfang watched the little conversation below them.

Her heightened hearing catching the soft sound of paws touching ground, Kylee's ears flicked and a low growl broke from her throat, turning to look in the direction of the sound, she took off towards it, no way was some wolf sneaking up on /her/ pack if she had anything to say about it.

Blinking as one of the wolves left the group, Redfang frowned, 'Great...' he thought, he wasn't sure how well Moon could fight, but he did know that she could take care of herself long enough, he was mostly worried about how strong the wolf leaving was. Taking off across the opponents side, he didn't bother to walk around, instead, he ran right past them, tailing after the female that took off.

[Rashlynn]

Rashlynn let a seconds-worth of a shocked expression sit on her face before smirking again. She awaited Cheif's arrival.


Moon lept from the underbrush and aimed straight for the approaching wolf. She took in a quick look of the wolf and saw that it was a female and she wondered how much she weighed. Snarling, and forgetting the question, she landed to the left of the female, hoping to catch her off guard since she had faked going at her throat first. She growled deep and then stood there, low to the ground, looking as deadly as possible.

Cheif growled as he was hushed and then pricked his ears forward as he was summoned. He kept his fighting stance and trotted to the two Alphesses. He didn't like how Rashlynn's mind worked and when he reached the females, his mind exploded into the past. He was in Rashlynn's mind, and was suddenly seeing her plan that had killed Cobalt instead of him and he came back to the present. He growled fiercly and awaited Brokefang's proposal.

[Brokefang]

Smiling somewhat teasingly to the female, Brokefang looked to Cheif and nodded, "Have fun, kid. Oh, and remember what I thought to you, hm?" she added before stepping back out of the way. Hearing the sound of growling, quickly followed by a flash of color as Redfang darted past her she frowned, "Redfang..." shaking her head, she looked back up the hill to the others and motioned for them to come down.

Blinking in some surprise as she was landed on, Kylee laid there for a few moments, studying the female infront of her curiously then smirked. Standing, she placed a paw on the ground, in a few moments, a nice layer of ice began to race towards Moon, which was quickly cut off as a male accidently rammed into her, making her stumble some.
Growling, she rolled to her feet and eyed the two before her.

Lettin gout a small 'oof' as Redfang slammed into the female that Moon had pounced, he somehow ended with his face in the grass.
Spitting out a few blades that had gotten into his mouth, he laughed sheepishly and stood, shaking his pelt free of the grass and water from the melted ice.

[Rashlynn]

Rashlynn growled angrily as she was teased. She jumped and grsbbed hold of Cheif's front leg and grinned as he howled in pain. She darted away quickley and smiled. This was going to be fun.

Moon yelped as ice came straight at her, then Redfang. She lunged forward with a vicious snarl and went straight for the female, no tricks this time. This female was going to use powers to win. Moon planned on winning the right way.

Cheif was about to question what Brokefang meant, but was cut off by a searing pain in his leg. He howled in agony and glared at the female, who had just cheated and not even started out fairly. He lashed out with his good leg and caught her off guard by knocking her to the ground. He grinned and awaited for her to get back up and start over again.
