Hi my name is Tut.
I live in the VictorVille, high desert area.
Its in California pretty close to Barstow where I race.
Its about 1 hour from our racing and about 3.5 hours from Glamis.
So I like it.

Well lets see.....
I started this site to be able to talk to other racers I know that I can not talk to all the time but would like to leave photos and catch up on each others work from time to time.
So I can see others work and how their doing and they can see how I am doing also.
A place where we can all just come to post, talk and join in.

Also to allow others to meet and get in on the site and show their vehicles as well.

I have been into the Desert and mostly Glamis scene since I was born.
I have been going to the Desert riding bikes for my entire life.

When I returned from the Military I built my own buggy and well have kept on building them every since.

Then before I turned 30 I said I was going to Desert Race.
As its been a dream of mine forever.
I started my own company "Tut Tech Racing"
Ya a small company out of my garage.
Just me, my family and friends help out from time to time and no real work just dreams... but its fun.
The garage business may be small but it does get the job done.
ext_hooray.gif Building race cars good enough to finish top 3, win in class sometimes and once even took an over all at a race.

With help from my loving wife Pepper who supports me 110% off I went and built my very first Desert Race Buggy.

It did well and placed 3rd or better in all of its races.
Nice. wink.gif

That car was actually stolen and stripped pretty bad and since then I have built several other race vehicles.

Currently I am running in our new car Kitt short for Kitten
because she is small and not a full size cat.. or uhm car.

Pepper and I share the driving I mostly drive and she
mostly co drives and navigates, radio, gauges pretty much
everything else including on jumping out fixing flats and
the car!
But she also drives especially for the Powder or Power Puff
Races to raise money for charity and helps out other
times as well.
In 2009 she will be the driver of record and take over for an entire season
of driving. Awesome! ext_beer2.gif

We finished last season 2007 with an overall 2nd place
for the season. Nice very nice in a new little car.
Very cool.

In 2008 we finished after missing a race which really hurt us in such a close
battle for points in 3rd for the season. Again not bad.

Pepper and I are really big desert people.
Going to the desert for our fun and vacations is only part of how much we
enjoy the desert. In 2001 we moved to the High Desert.
We currently live on a couple of acres of property down a dirt road and
enjoy every minute of it.

At Tut Tech we do all of our own prep, maintenance and racing ourselves.
Our money comes from the side work I do from my Tut Tech business to
pay for all of our racing costs.

We are always looking for sponsors and other individuals with a passion and love
for the desert to join in with us.

Well that's about it for today.
Please join in and talk, show your stuff and what not.

Thanks,
Tut.
