TUT TECH RACING

user posted image

Tut Tech Racing is a unique racing team that consists of my wife Pepper and I.
Currently Pepper is the driver of our car and is running in every race this season as one of the few female drivers to race an entire season and to go up against the other cars in her class for over all points for the year.
Our pit crew is my friends Jason, Christin, Red, Kim, Martee, Mark and Damzl.
We appreciate them so much words can not say. Thank you.

Pepper and I are a Husband and Wife team that runs a unique small size race car.
Currently we have to raise the money for each race ourselves and it’s expensive.
Our current needs at this time is approximately $800.00 dollars per race.
Then approximately $200.00 to 500.00 is needed after each race to prep, clean, grease, oil, replace parts like tires etc. for the next race in prep work.
With Damages this can be much higher.

Pepper and I have been racing together since 2000. We work well together and it shows. As a Husband and Wife team its nice to be taken seriously. This will reflect on your company and you as our sponsor. Plus let us tell you, your sponsorship will make a difference. We are serious and professional. We care about our vehicle, parts, other racers and ourselves to much to risk being careless and dangerous. We are professional and well liked in our racing community.

We strive to never miss a race and we never quit a race. This season we have finished every single mile of every single race we have entered. We live by the rule that we never give up. So we can use your help to meet this demanding goal. An example of us never giving up is at one race it took Pepper and I over 13 hours to go 400 miles continuing on through the middle of the night. But we never gave up and when we finished we were the 3rd car in our class to finish all the others gave up. By racing with our never give up attitude and after missing 2 of the races for the season we were still able to finish 2nd for the entire year. Well done for a first year showing an untested, unproven smaller race car I designed. This year we are currently doing as well as last year and having even more fun.

We had a very big set back a couple years ago we had our first race car stolen and stripped so we were out of racing for awhile until we had the money to build our new smaller car. With our new smaller car that I designed and built entirely on my own, we have been able to get back out there and race again. But do to the cost of rebuilding another race car we need help to afford the actual racing costs.

Your probably thinking what do you receive out of sponsoring us?

First:
Recognition.
Your name on our racing website letting everyone know your a sponsor of ours. We talk very highly of our sponsors and appreciate any and all effort anyone gives us. All sponsors are talked about very highly by myself and Pepper. Sponsors will receive our respect, gratitude and our thanks for your support.

Second:
Your name on the car for everyone to see at the races. You will have your companies logo or name made onto a sticker and we run it proudly for everyone to see on the car.

Third:
Your name will appear in various magazines, photos, websites etc. each time a photo of our car is taken and our car loves to have its picture taken your logo will be seen.
Also after race reports or articles from when we win we list our sponsors.

Fourth:
At car shows, off road type expos or buggy events your name will be on the side of our car for everyone at these events to see. People love to stop and see our little car.
It gets a lot of attention and your name will be seen. We talk highly of all of our sponsors to everyone.

Fifth:
At awards your name will be mentioned as a sponsor and that do to your sponsorship we were able to enter, finish & hopefully win a race. That without you we would not be able to finish a race or be standing in the winners circle or be able to go to the end of the year awards banquet without your help and sponsorship.

In Closing:
Do to the growing cost of racing, parts and prep work we are looking for sponsors to help with the cost of entry fees, race fuel, tires, parts, repairs and prep work for the next race. Plus repairs after the races of any damage or broken parts. We also need help with the rebuilding of engines and transmissions. We have a lot more fees than people really know. One race after damage to the car, we had to buy new Micro stubs, CV's and Axle’s. Over $3,000 dollars to fix our car and get back out there. Do to the increase cost of racing if that was to happen today we would be done racing without sponsorship.
We can use your help. If your willing or able to help please let us know.

Thank you for your time,
Tut & Pepper Cote’

I would like to thank our current sponsors and supporters:
TrailGlow, Kartek, R&R Powder Coating, Wright Gear Box, Eddies Bug Builders, DAMZL, MORE, Martee’s race photos and all our family and friends who come out and support us.
Thank you all for your support without it we could not finish a race let alone win one!

Just an update.
Last year we did finish the season with the second place points for our class
for the entire year.

Thats beating out every other racer that raced in our class not
just once or twice but for an entire year we kept our car in the race
and finished well enough to finish with a 2nd place for the entire season.

We are very proud of our accomplishment.
We worked hard for it and it was a tough battle to receive it.
But we are so happy to have taken a second place running against
much larger cars and even V-8 motors.

We are not only out sized but almost always out motored.

Here is a quck picture of our winners trophy.

Ok we officially started our new season of racing as of this weekend.
We just finished the Kartek Dash with a Second place in our class.
This race was a timed event.
You basically have 3.5 hours to do as many pre set out laps as possible.
We ran 7 laps. Had some small damage to the car we had to stop
and fix.
But other than that we just kept on racing.

You can read a race report here if you like:

Tut Tech Racing is ready for another season and off to a great start.
The car is doing well and we are ready for another great year.

This brings us to asking for support in our racing.
If you know someone or would like to help out with support to help
us make this year another great year of racing please let us know.

Thank you,
Tut & Pepper Cote'

With our final race of the season behind us we finished the year with
a 3rd in points. ext_hooray.gif

It was a close points battle all year and with me missing a race
this year it really hurt us and took us out of being able to even
come close to an over all win.

We are always happy to just race but finishing in the top 3 and
having this much fun is awesome!
We had another great year and look forward to next year when
Pepper will take over as driver of Kitt.

So exciting. Next year is going to be even more of an adventure
and even more exciting I can tell already.

Thanks for all the support and help from everyone.
There are to many names to list but to all of our friends and family
thank you.

We will be off to the awards dinner to receive our trophy for the year
and then Jan 24th we kick of the new season.

Please come join us!

Tut & Pepper.

Ok time for an update.
Pepper has now taken over for an entire season as the driver of "Kitt"
She will be racing 6 races for the season for points. One race every other month.
Plus she will of course do the Powder Puff race to raise money for Breast Cancer so please if you can donate and help out to a great cause.
She will also be running the Toys for Tots Race in December so if you can
or want to help donate to buy some toys for the children let us know.

So far Pepper is off to a great start.
After only two races this season she is the current points champion for her class!
After taking the win in her class by driving smarter not harder she pulled off
a two lap victory over the nearest car in her class.
Break downs where major at the last race as the course was rough.
She kept the pace slower and kept from getting any flats or downtime.
This slower pace was all she needed to keep moving and not stop to take
the win. Great job.

Please come out and watch her race at any of the MORE races.

Also here is a short video of her in action.

Thank you,
Tut & Pepper Cote'
