Cheesy Beans? Cook beans, shave cheese of choice over them and let it melt in. Wipe pan clean with buttered bread. Ooh, I'm getting peckish now... cool.gif

Being a "Cheeseaholic" I like the sound of a kilo of cheese with a few beans warmed up around it cool.gif

Crikey PD, that should come with a health warning! ohmy.gif But I'm sure you know your limits biggrin.gif

When I was a kid in the school's cadet force I got fed up with eating grass in the cooked food on night exercises so I came up with a cold three course meal.

1st course, cold beans and bread and butter.
2nd course, cold rice pudding.

Now at this point I'd got fulll marks for maintaining my night vision biggrin.gif

3rd course, big fag rolleyes.gif

Couldn't see a thing after that laugh.gif But, it's a meal that requires no fuel and no cooking time. And you could always chuck a chunk of cheese in there PD wink.gif

Based on my current diet:
3 slices of cheese on 3 buttered cream crackers.
Use the pan to boil water for coffee biggrin.gif

I used to be able to cook, fairly basic stuff but edible none the less.
Since the brain injuriesI have no memory of how to cook and no instinctive ways of making something that wouldn't poison me! Problem is that one of the bits of damaged brain is the one that allows stuff to get IN and stay in. I can't learn basically other than simple things by constant repetition. I tend to end up doing things like Pot Noodles blink.gif . One that I do like is a tin of cold HEINZ Macaroni cheese and a packet of ready salted crisps.

There you go: carbohydrates, protein and salt - can't be bad smile.gif

Only definite is that it must be Klutz Proof and not involve ANY seafood as I am allergic to Fish.
Want something that I can always source the ingredients at a Local Shop and make it in the one pan. Don't care how simple it sounds, tell me anyway please!

Dunno if this has been said already but if you google trangia recipes there are a lot on the web.
