Dear Fell Club members,
Can anyone recommend a lightweight DAB radio suitable for camping and cycling at home and abroad?
Also, next August I am organising an off-road CTC ride from Chawton Wood near Four Marks ,Hampshire. It is on Saturday 9th August which will clash with the Birthday Rides. Usually they are the week before but when I chose the date of my ride I assumed they were on at their usual time. There is a campsite near Four Marks but I have yet to check the facilities for tent campers. There does appear to be a toilet.

Hi Mark

As anto says most of us have moved to the Travelling Light forum. http://z10.invisionfree.com/Travelling_Light/index.php

If you are a Fell Club member register for the forum and then let the moderator know your FC membership number and he will give you the password to the protected FC section.

Going back to DAB radios. I use one at home and have been dissapointed with the few stations on air. The problem with the portable ones is battery life. DABs take a lot extra out of the battery and if you have no where to charge them in can get expensive to keep using new batteries.
