I have applied everywhere all they say is they need UK exp.. i am DISC certified trainer, also certified on Strategies for success - ZIGGLAR , I have trained for almost three Years in India. and trained delegates from various domain such banking , Finance , IT . Hi Agile,
I'm surprised you have struggled to find work with your experience. CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development) is the common route to qualification in the UK. However, they are very HR minded and a lot of trainers I speak to say that the course is more about HR than training, which does not help. You may want to register with ITOL, who are the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning and they are specific to training. This may give you the UK training 'stamp' you need. Trainer Bubble promote ITOL on their website, have a look there. Other companies are the British Institute of Learning and Development and TAP, although I don't know a great deal about them. As for displaying your factilitation skills in London, have you tried agencies? Or perhaps if you are brave you could try going it alone and setting up a consultancy. Another idea is to offer evening courses to the council to help local businesses to develop. This can open doors for you. Anyway, keep in touch and let us know how you get on... -------------------- Those that can do, those that can't teach! - George Bernard Shaw
