Here's the problem: the email address I registered with is getting really wonky. I can send email from it still, but I haven't received any emails that anyone's sent me for two days. I put in a trouble ticket, but let's just say that I'm not holding out much hope that they'll actually fix the problem. It's a yahoo account that's associated with my domain name, so I have a feeling that they're just going to tell me to open a new account, which I've already done just in case.

So if push comes to shove and I want to change the email address that I use to get messages and topic reply notifications and stuff from here, how do I go about doing that? I played around with the control panel a little bit but I didn't see a way to do it. I'm hoping that this is something the forum owner can take care of on his end if I can't do it on mine.

You can't do it with your domain name. It stays that way. If there is something wrong with the email it is possibly the accounts fault, not the email. The only way to get a different email address to to get one else where, like on Hotmail where it is free.

I think there is something you can do to create a new profile on Yahoo. My friend Robyn did it. First you go to your account settings "My Account", then you create a new profile page, then make that default.

I actually got it all fixed now. Somehow my email account had a glitch where my mail was being forwarded to a different account. I set that up once while I was having trouble with Yahoo a long time ago, but turned it off once the problem was resolved. Any way, there was some kind of glitch and when I checked that other account, all the mail I wasn't getting was there.

I knew I could register a new account with Yahoo, but what I wanted to do was change my proflle here so my topic reply notifications and such would go to a different email address, without my having to completely re-register here, if that makes sense.
