Ok...I admit that there is something about Tom that does make it hard for him to do hardcore criminal, yet in RTP he manages to pull it off for the most part. Still he was sooooo handsome in the attire of that era (1930s). He had a dark brooding mysteriousness about him. All in all it was a heck of a performance!

I found by chance Punchline DVD in a department store 3 years ago. At that moment I couldnīt believe my luck because itīs a movie very difficult to find. But itīs worth to see because Tomīs performance is gorgeous. In fact, I remember have reading an interview in which Tom said that he would have prefered an oscar nomination for Punchline instead of Bigīs nomination. The most memorable scene is that one where Tom is dancing with an umbrella while itīs raining a lot, in the middle of the street, after being rejected by the woman with whom he loves.
