Welcome to Thrusted Sins, a futuristic hp roleplay. Almost 30 years ago did the battle between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort take place. We all thought that the fall of the Dark Lord and the killing of Harry Potter would end all the darkness in the wizarding world. Turns out we were wrong. Today the Death Eaters are building up an army and becoming more powerful and stronger than ever. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy has become the farthest thing from bliss and the ministry has corrupted. Only misery, betrayl, and thrusted sins are upon us.

the R U L E S In order for us to keep Thrusted Sins organized and easy to understand, we'd really appreciate it if you took the time to read everything below. That way things will be a lot less confusing for you and the other members of the site. Thank you kindly. Also, we will be judging all applications rather harshly, mainly because we want to have a site full of happy, active members that have experience in roleplaying. If you are confused about anything here, please PM an administrator and we will gladly help you.
----------------------------------------------------------»Registry Rules
» Before even registering, please make sure you check the canon character list to determine if you want to become a canon or an original character. It also helps if you read the main plot before signing up too, so things help you in deciding who you want to play.
» When registering, use only a FIRST and LAST name. Make sure the first letter in the first and last name are capitalised. If you mess up, you have 24 hours to PM an administrator to have them fix it. We'd really rather not have to fix names.
» You make have up to 3 characters in total. One of them must be a male since most sites are always lacking. However, we strongly would like if people signed up as a Professor or an adult since most sites are generally lacking in this area aswell. If you sign up as a Professor or an adult, the number of characters you can have are stiil 3, plus the professor/adult.
» Also, when reserving/applying a character, only reserve one at a time, mostly because of the rule above. This is to ensure that other members will get a chance to play a character
»Site Rules
» This board is rated R, seeing as most of the roleplayers are mature and at least 13 years of age. I suggest you be at least 13, but if you are younger you are allowed to join but to your disgression. There will be topics with sexual nature and coarse language in them but they will be labelled with three (3) stars (***) in the topic title or description. It is up to you if you wish to read them or not.
» Please keep swearing to a minimum. Do not constantly drop "f" bombs ever few words seeing as not everyone will be comfortable with it. If an admin catches you constantly swearing, you will recieve 1 warning, and only 1 warning. If you are still found swearing like mad you will be deleted without warning nor hesitation. Minor words suchs as "shit", "damn", "hell" are allowed but not too much m'kay?
» Please do NOT use any sexist, racist or any of the sort terms in roleplay posts or in the chat box because we will not tolerate it. If you are caught saying things like that, you will be deleted and possibly banned. Please put your favourite ice-cream flavour where it says Anything Else, it is quite rude to say such things and no one enjoys hearing someone say something like that towards them or others.
» Please, have a good time on [TS], that's why we're here. If you're only here to harrass other members and make them feel horrible, then don't sign up and leave immediately. We want people to feel welcome here and to have a good tme.
» Please stay as active as you can. We are aware that things in your life may happen that cause you to be inactive and we'd like to know if you'll be away for a period of time. This is only a roleplay site and your life is more important so deal with those things first. We will all be here waiting for you to return whenever you can.
»Roleplay Rules
» No one-liners or two-liners please. Each post MUST have a minimum of three paragraphs in them. It's hard for members to reply when you only put one sentence in a post. Any posts under two paragraphs will be ignored and/or deleted without warning. This is a Literate-Advanced site.
» Please roleplay in third person only. It's a lot easier and most sites run like that.
Good example: Tommy ran across the grounds, screaming like mad as the pain in his arm throbbed immensely.
Bad example: I walked across the Quidditch pitch singing to myself.
» No god-moding please. No one likes it and no one likes to be controlled. Little things like having your character hold out their hands and making the other do the same is alright. But such things as having your character send a spell at another and having them get hit are not allowed. You must say your character is sending the spell and have the other person determine if it hits or not. It is alright to control non-playable characters like Peeves or Myrtle.
»Avatar and Signature Guidelines
» We expect everyone to have at least an avatar or signature within three days of their character's creation. If you take any longer, you will recieve a PM from an administrator letting you know you need to get one up, even if it's temporary while one is being made.
» All avatars must not exceed 100x100.
» All signatures must not exceed 500x200 or else it stretches the board and makes it ugly.
» If you wish to use icons in your signature, please do not use more than 8. If you do, you will recieve a warning asking you to change it.
» If you are wanting to use 150x150 icons in your signature, no more than four please.
» You can include text in your signature but it cannot contain links or advertisements to other sites. You can have links to your character's bio and plot in them, however. There is a forum for advertising another board and we expect you to only post ads there.
»Advertising Rules
» We highly recommend members advertising Thrusted Sins on other sites. Just be sure to follow their advertising rules.
» If you are a guest and you wish to advertise you board on our site, please only post in the Advertising Forum an no where else.
» Links must not lead to sites with inappropriate images or content on them or they will be deleted and we will send a notice to Invisionfree.
» Please do not post more than one ad per site. It is unnecessary.
» Please do not bump your ad once it reaches the second page. It is unnecessary. --------------
These rules are subject to change when we feel it is needed. Keep checking back once in a while to make sure you are updated on the rules.
