The link above is from CNN (I know, a very reputable source) but it shows some of the spending in their "economy stimulus" package.

Almost $250 million in tax breaks for movie producers and only $75 million for smoking cessation initiatives. And what platform did the Dems run on? Oh yeah, HEALTH CARE REFORM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

$500 million for state and local fire stations. Why should the Federal Government be taking care of this? Make the states become more fiscally responsible for their own issues and quit making me pay for everyone's fire department.

$850 million for Amtrak. All I can say is WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

$160 million for "paid volunteers" at the Corporation for National and Community Service. What in the he!! is a "Paid Volunteer"? Isn't that an oxymoron like "Military Intelligence"?

$6 billion to turn federal buildings into "green" buildings. Riiiiiight....and then what excuse will they use to take more taxes? Just change the friggin' light bulbs and turn the heat down / AC up.


Just take a look at some of the spending in there and ask yourself WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
