palomar tx 75 or 100, pills

unfort my tx 75 or 100's pills decided to go to the cb grave
now i know why your asking is it a 75 or 100 i was told it was a 75 but
it looks nothing like the 75s colors or marking it looks like the tx 100
yes this is REAL Palomar not the " elite" ones
ok the pills are ctc cd2545's can i replace them with 455's or 1446's with no harm no foul i can get replacement ctc's but highy spendy
any info would be great sence this was a super clean soild state amp

ok kewl deal ill call rf parts and see what they cost hope not too much as its only a 2 pill amp but would be great to have her as back up power for dxing

Look real close and measure the two resistors, one large and one small, for each pill. Normally when the transistor goes, it takes these two transistor out also. Lift one leg and measure the resistor to see if it is still within tolerance of it's marked rating i.e. 2%, 5% , 10% so on. If not, replace them otherwise you will have two new resistors that will either not function correctly or blow off of the get go.

ok i will do that both have 100k ohm reistors on them thats something i didnt know about so ill check them also thanks for that info
