Emily grinned out at the people on the beach. They couldn't see her, but it made her feel like on of the murders in a horror movie, Hiding waiting to pounce on her next victim. But the only victim she was thinking about was her next Monster energy drink out of a box that sat next to her. She was on her 1st and could barely even contain herself. Emily was known for drinking too much, Only not with alcoholic drinks--Energy drinks.

She was wearing a black Monster energy drink tee, with green shorts and navy converse high tops. She didn't really care how she looked. All she really did was brush her hair and teeth, throw on random cloths and walk out her door. It was her normal day routine.

She didn't even notice when another person joined her.

Hannah found her way up to the tiki hut, hoping to be alone but she saw a younger girl up there. It was fine, maybe the girl could help her in someway. A sly smirk appeared across Hannah's lips as she walked out onto the Tiki Hut further and sat down quietly, not to be noticed right away.

She was flipping through her notebook, getting her work together since she was to cover the up-coming skating contest and talk to the pros who were there watching. Sports weren't her thing but word was floating around that Landon had been chosen as one of the judges so she didn't mind going, she was actually looking forward to it.

"Hi there." she said, finally walking up and leaning across the railing. [b]

Emily jumped and look with a shocked expression at the new comer, a lady. Blonde. Just like everyone else. "Hey." she said kicking her board up and catching it with one hand. When did she get here? She wondered why she hadn't heard the girl come in. Emily set down her drink and flashed the lady a grin. "Emily grey." she said putting her skateboard next to her drink then held her hand out to shake the other lady's.

With her free hand she brushed her bangs to the side slightly, a small breeze was picking up. It was normal for Hawaii. But it was slightly annoying. She knew about the skating contest and was planning on competing. It was her first legal compaction, most of the good ones were underground. Those were the best.

"Hannah Brooks." she said, flashing a smile to the girl and then looked out to the water crashing against the shore. She loved this kind of weather and she'd rather be at the beach or hanging out with friends rather than working on her upcoming project. She glanced around and saw the girl was a skater. Now Hannah was sure the girl could help her.

"So you skate? I guess you're entering the contest next week? I'm covering the entire event." she brushed her hair out of her face and pulled it back, tying it in a low ponytail so it wouldn't be blowing all over her face.

"Yeah, Just gonna fool around. You know, it isn't that important." She said with a shrug. "Just some compaction." She smiled at Hannah, "I'm guessing you either like to watch or your a reporter." she said looking at the waves. Then she turned to Hannah. "No offence, but you don't look like you skate."

Brushing hair out of her face, Emily grinned. it was true. She didn't really know any names of reporters, but she looked fairly familiar. But she couldn't place her face. "Are you going to the..thing?" she asked

"Yeah I'm a reporter." she laughed a bit, and then turned towards the girl who was watching the waves. "don't worry though, this is totally off the record." she smiled and leaned further out over the railing, seeing if she could recognize any faces below them but she couldn't from this height.

"No I'm not a skater. I tried surfing before but the guy instructing me kind of got rich, famous and married so I didn't get too far." she shrugged

"Bummer." she said but she didn't really know how that felt. Never having a boyfriend and all. But Hannah didn't have to know that. So she took a long sip of her energy drink. Then she turned to Hannah grabbing something from her box, "Hey, You want one?" she asked holding out a monster to her.

Emily looked over the railing and shuttered, she didn't like heights. They scared her--unless she was on a half pipe. Those didn't scare her as much.

"Yeah...major bummer." she said. Hannah was working up to asking the girl if she'd mind helping her out with getting Landon's attention, but she'd have to work a little more to break the girl first. "Thanks, I love these drinks." she took the Monster and took a long sip from it like she hadn't had anything to drink all day.

"So are you sponsored? or is that really not why you're into it?" Hannah had been around enough to know that some people only wanted to skate for the fun of it, not to make a profit. She wasn't quite sure about Emily though.

Emily nodded and let her arm fall into her lap after Hannah took the drink "Well, I'm working on it. See I skate for fun, but I really want to go pro. See I heard some big sponsors were gonna be at this competition, so I guess that's why me and josh are going." she shrugged. "He says I'm good enough, but I don't really know,"

"So that's why your here? This skating competition? So some big time pro's are gonna be there?" she asked drumming her fingers on her lap.

She listened closely as the girl talked, found her interesting that she could be friends with so many guys and not have a boyfriend. Hannah was always friends with a lot of boys and she dated most of them.

"Uhm, yeah, Landon Myers, the surfer, is a judge and he's looking for a new member to add to his families company. I could put in a good word for you, if you'd like. We have a...history, you could say."

She played with the tab on her can, flicking it back and forth until it broke off.

"Seriously?" She asked looked at Hannah now "Wow. That's really nice of you." she was shocked. Was he the surfer that left you? She wanted to ask, but she didn't. That would be rude. "How could I repay you?" The lady could be handing her a deal, it wouldn't be right if she got nothing in return.

Emily fit in better with guys, it was just the way it happened. Kayla was her only really girl friend. Guys just excepted her more. And they didn't care if she burped in their face, but they get offended when you learn a trick that was way above what they could do.

"Oh you don't have to repay me, I'm glad to do it." she lied. It's not that she was lying about wanting to help the girl, but what was she to say right now? 'oh yeah you can repay me by lying to the guy about his wife so that he won't want to be with her anymore...sure that might work, but it was still a little to early for that she thought. Besides, Emily didn't seem like the conniving type that Hannah was known for back in New York.

"Unless....you might want to tell Landon how great of a person you think I am?" she smirked a little, trying to be coy so that her real intentions wouldn't show.

Wow, She's must really want something, or is just really nice. she thought with a smile. "Uh, I've never really met Landon. but I guess he can't be that hard to find." she said looking slightly confused, But it made sense. She would put in a good word for her while Emily would put in a good word for her. It was only slightly disappointing, because that meant that Hannah loved--or really liked Landon. Just like everyone else.

But the disappointment didn't last long. Because she told herself that Hannah was going to help her get sponsored, by a pro surfer--that even skated for a time. That was more then she could even ask for.

Hannah smiled "well, you will need my help becasue he's a celebrity and hard to get in contact with but we can pull it off" she said winking. She was determined to split up Brooke and Landon so she could have him all to herself. She was trully maddly deeply in love with Landon and needed to be with him. Even if it meant doing bad things and hurting the ones he loves, like Brooke

"Alright." Her plan was a little out there and didn't seem like it could work. But who knew? Maybe for once luck was on her side. Or the plan would fail horribly. But Emily tried not to think about that. She didn't know what she was getting into either. She had no idea that she was supposed to help break up a marriage. She smiled at Hannah and then took a sip of her drink.

Then she turned her attention to a small bug that was crawling on the wall. It was very dark--black almost. With one very bright orange line across it's back. She had no idea what it was so she when a little closer, it looked just like a ladybug--Minus the coloring part. Very weird.
