2009 Fall/Winter Playoffs, Here we go again!

Results are in and here are the playoff matchups:

Amazing Prizzini Brothers (Goblins) vs. Mazdamundi Marauders (lizardmen)
Iron Injustice (Dwarves) vs. Ankle Biters (Skaven)

Call/contact each other for the round 1 of playoffs. Regardless of who wins, there WILL be a round 2. That round 2 I would like to happen on Nov. 14 AFTER the 40K tourney (cause I will already be at UGG and I want to be there for the final with the awards )

That being said, Scottie, can you make it sometime during the week ? I cannot do Sunday (tomorrow) or Monday, but pretty much everything else is open for me.

I could make it this Wednesday. I'm hoping I could make it there by 7, but traffic from the city might be ugly.

I should be able to get the first game in this week. Any week night (except Tuesday) should be fine with me.

Just let me know what night works for you. I can get to UG&G around 6-6:30pm.

I won't be able to make it on the 14th. That is the first day of the Core Comp Tournament down at the Bunker. It is a two day tournament, so I can't do the 15th either.

I'm going to be out of town for the better part of this week, so we'll have to play Thursday or Friday, unless you wanted to play today.

Absolutely. I just posted it in weekly stats. Please keep in mind that I did not update ALL stats for individual players for the last week and also TVs may be off...

Since it doesn't look like there's going to be a second round of playoffs this weekend, would it be possible to move out game to Saturday afternoon, at say 3:30?

(Weekdays are really tough for me to get up to Grayslake.)

If not, I can make Wednesday work.

Saturday will be fine... However, it will have to happen later than 3:30 since the 40K tourney I'm running will happen at that time. I plan on being wrapped up by 5pm.

I what seemed to be the most odd game of the season, the Mazdamundi Marauders got past the sneaky Prizzini Brothers 4-1.
Macuilxochitl (#10 Skink) continued his scoring ways, scoring 3 more TDs (That's 6 in 2 games!). The veteran Kukucan (#8 Skink) added a 4th TD while Tlalocan (#11 Skink) had a completion and MVP and increased his STR.

The oddity of tyhis games comes in the CAS department, the Goblins causing FOUR casualties to the Lizardmen's NONE! Cihuacoatl (#2 Saurus) was beaten into the grave by the little fellows, but hit twin was in attendance and vowed to continue the family legacy!

Iobutl (#13 Skink) barely stepped onto the pitch before being anihilated by a Troll cross and missing the rest of the playoffs with a niggling injury (Scottie... you were right, when I got home there was a discrepancy between my sheet and the match sheet and since I wrote down Niggling on my sheet, I will take that as the result and have the skink also miss next game as opposed to just missing one game).

The team won the hearts of the supporters and were showered with gold (80K) which was promtly used to hire Cihuacoatl's twin also named Cihuacoatl for the next match.
Fan Factor went up by 1 and most of the rest of the funds were used to purchase another reroll and another cheerleader/assistant coach.

With only 12 players travelling to the final match, the final team value comes to 1,400,000.

Also, for those in the playoffs, I would like to try and get the final two matches done Saturday night after the Fantasy Tourney (so around 6 pm). Please let me know if that works for everyone. Remember, even if you lose in the playoffs, advance your players and buy what you need because you WILL be playing another match.
